Juniper and Dusk

Hi! Jane here to show you my latest makes using some of Crafts and Me's stunning digi images! The first one you may have already seen on the challenge blog for the current challenge which is lace. I used the gorgeous Dusk to create a spring wall plaque as she was perfect for a springtime look with those cute little bunny rabbits!
For my second card I've used the stunning new image, Juniper and created a vintage look by colouring in black and white and using the cracked glass technique over the image.
I took one look at her and thought she'd look fabulous in black and white as though she was an old Victorian print or something and I'm thrilled with how she turned out!
I used distress ink before giving the whole image a cracked glass effect with UTEE available in the store. Once I had the cracked glass effect I inked over it with distress ink available HERE. This gives such a fabulous aged effect as not only does it work into the cracks but in larger cracks it also seeps down into the cardstock to give brown spots which to me look similar to when a mirror is very old and the foiling is coming away from the glass. I was especially pleased with all the fine cracks that almost radiate from the mirror onto her face - how perfect - couldn't do that again if I tried LOL! For more details on either of my creations please see my blog.
Hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for looking! x

Digi Stamps Juniper and Porcini with Rubber Stamp Time Flies

Hi there! This is Rose sharing with you two cards and a cracker box that I've put together using fabulous Crafts and Me images.  I have filled these images using Copic colors.

This photo shows a recently released image by Sara Burrier named Juniper.  Early this month, I added Juniper to a birthday card.  Now I've used her on this Christmas card where I attempt to show how she's using the strand of pearls wrapped around her arm to trim her Christmas tree.

You may have viewed this thank you card, showing the recently released Porcini, also by Sara Burrier, at the Crafts and Me Dynamite Digi team's Lace challenge.  Ahhh, she's so sweet!

You can find these and more newly released digi images at the Crafts and Me store here.

I really enjoy working with fantasy art images and found this cracker box candy holder to be perfect for displaying this wonderful rubber stamp image by Ching-Chou Kuik called Time Flies.  I realize this birthday project is a little bright, well, okay, so it could actually hurt some sensitive eyes, but it was a lot of fun to make.  Anything is acceptable with fantasy art and I love that that these beautiful images can be used on projects other than cards.

You can find Ching-Chou Kuik's Time Flies rubber stamp here.

There's still time to add your entry to the current Digi team's Lace challenge here.  Visit the Crafts and Me challenge blog again on Wednesday for a new Rockin' Rubbah challenge.

Wishing you a lovely day!  We're so glad you stopped by to visit!

Christmas is comming

Hi everyone :D
I am sorry to mention it but it is true and I suddenly realised the other day that I really need to get a move on with my making lol
So here is what I have started with. This pretty girl is an oldie but a goodie from the Sara Burrier range called Thankful Blessings (get her HERE) I have coloured her with promarkers and added some touches of sparkle with sakura stardust pens.

I also made this bag charm as a little gift using a mix of beads I have collected in my stash. The image is Kathleen Mermaid available HERE. I stamped her on shrink plastic and then coloured her with pencils and sakura stardust pens. I know you can't tell from the pic but she sparkles in real life :D

I hope you are all having a good weekend and don't forget there is still time to enter the lace challenge over at Crafts and Me challenges for the chance to win a great prize.

Huge hugs to you all

Bride/Flapper and Alice Lost

Hi everyone.  Today's post is going to be short and sweet.  I have had a lot going on and almost NO craft time. I have had this card done for a while now and wanted to share it with you. This image is called Bride/Flapper and is one of Crafts and Me's Art Deco stamps and it can be found HERE I made a card similar to this one before, but this one was for the Show.
I was trying to get more cards finished to share with you, but that never happened. Just one thing has come up after another.

Oh and I almost forgot about this card to share with you.  This is "Belle of Bon Adventure" by Jasmine Beckett-Griffith. I wanted to give her a little darker but Spanish look. Her ruffles on her dress remind me of a Spanish looking dress so I went with red and black for my color scheme.
I love these Spellbinder Dies. All images were colored with copics.

Here is my card from our last Rocking Rubber Challenge. I used a Hannah Lynn image called "Alice Lost". She is one of Hannah's newest releases.

Well I am off to get some things done as it is last here and I have to finish some things for the kids and get some sleep before work soon.
Make sure you hop on over to our Challenge blog to see what new challenge our Digi team has for you and to see their creations. Thanks for taking time to stop by today

Feeling Blue

Hi everyone, Karina here. Hope you're all doing fine. While such hot days like we had the last few days with temperatures up to 35 degrees, I found it a bit cooling to create a card with blue tones :o).

So the first one I want to show you I made on Sunday. I wanted to make the colour combo blue and brown, which I like so much. I used this beautiful image by the fabulous artist Sara Burrier called 'Mourning'. I coloured her with Distress Inks.

The second card I show you I made last week was for the last challenge where we had the theme blue or blue/green. I used this sweet image called 'Carry Me Away' by the amazing artist Molly Harrison. I coloured it with Copics.

Wish you a wonderful week now. Thank you so much for your visit which is much apprechiated.
Hugs, Karina

Wonderland and Porcini

Hey Peeps!

Wakie wakie rise and shine, lol. Well i`m not the right person to be up early...unless i have to, lol. It`s soooo nice to sleep in, lol. My hubby has really spoiled me course he usually gets up in the morning with our little one....and he is the one working, hahaha. Ok, so i work too, but usually in the evening but you get the picture, hahaha.

This first card, some of you may have seen before, as i published it earlier this week in my blog. This is the first card i have created with a RUBBER stamp from Crafts and Me. The image is called Wonderland and is designed by Molly Harrison. If you just now got a reeeeeaaaal craving for it, lol, you can find it right here.

I used smooch to colour her wings and i actually think the texture i got was kinda fun. If you have felt the contours of an oilpainting, you know what it felt like when i rubbed my fingers over the image. I also used two Marianne dies for my flower arrangements an both of them are available right here in the Crafts and Me store.

My second card is the one i created for the last digi team challenge over at the challengeblog. Oh...and oooops...i accidentally chopped off her feet, lol. I`m sooo bad, lol. No, seriously...i just wanted to show you the versatility of a digistamp. I have lately gone crazy with my new Big shot, lol. I just looooove it, and i`m spending too much hard earned doh on new dies, sssshhh don`t tell my hubby, lol. So now i don`t make a card without some kind of die on it. On this card i have used the decorative doily die from Die-namics, available here in the Crafts and Me store. I have also used one of the same Marianne dies that i used on the card above, available here. And last but not least i have used the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch, available here.

Now, don`t forget to enter our challenge over at Crafts and Me challenges. It is the Rubbah team`s week this time, and you really should hop on over to see all the extremely gorgeous creations the girls have made to inspire you. If you`re up to it, please visit their personal blogs and leave them some love too. I know they get really excited when they get some sugar, lol.

Have a great weekend and thanks for looking. Happy crafting everyone!
