New Boots

Hi There Everyone

So here I am again with another card for Crafts and Me, this card however - will actually be my last at Crafts and Me, I have decided to leave, which will give me more time for my little girl, Ruby:-)

My card? I have used another Sue Rundle-Hughes image, she is a brand new artist at Crafts and Me, and I must say I do actually love these... well I love all the fairy images heheheheeh hence why I have stuck around for so long!!

This little beauty is called New Boots.... I love the idea of the fairy getting new boots and lacing them up on a rock... in someone's secret fairy garden! So here it is, I hope you all love it as much as me:-)

So what do you think? pretty sweet huh? I love colouring my fairy's in green.  I think I will miss doing them each fortnight, but I have a stack of images to play with, and of course, there is ALWAYS new ones each and every month!

So it has been an absolute pleasure, thank you Teresa for having me:-)

Happy Stamping Everyone, and I'll see you around in the Blog Land no doubt!! and don't forget about the new challenge theme just started over HERE

Caring and Thoughtful Fairies

Hi there! This is Rose sharing two cards that I've made using some of the wonderful digital images available ONLY at Crafts and Me Stamps.

Crafts and Me Stamps carries a fabulous selection of amazing digital silhouette fairy stamps.  When you're in a hurry and don't have time to add your own coloring, silhouette images can be the perfect addition to your projects.

I've used Fairy Friends to whip up a simple note card that will be handy for sharing a bit of news or sending caring thoughts to a good friend. You can get your own digital Fairy Friends here.  I've layered cardstock with patterned papers from a Memory Box Viola 6x6 paper stack.

You'll note that all of the digital silhouette images are made to print in black ink. In eight simple steps, I changed my digital image to print in purple and gray in my attempts to better match my card. You can find the steps I used at the end of this previous post.

You may have seen this card at the recent Dynamite Digi team's "Charmed, I'm Sure" challenge.  For this challenge I've used a newly released Fairy Cake Candle image by Sue Rundel-Hughes on a side-open birthday card.  You can find this lovely digital image here.

Say hello to Ann-Marie

Morning everyone,
Today I would like to introduce to you our newest member to the Rockin Rubbah D.T,
The lovely Ann Marie Governale from the U.S.A who has agreed to join our C&M family, we are all delighted to have Ann Marie share her beautiful creations and ideas with all you lovely crafters out there.
Ann-Marie will be joining us on  Rubbah week Thursday's, which is every other week, so please pop in and say hello to make her feel at home.
Scroll down for AnnMaries very first post

This is a little bio from Ann Marie:-

I live on Eastern Long Island, NY and teach high school English.  My husband and I are married 24 years and have a two children. My mother taught me to knit, crochet and quilt when I was a young girl and it continues to bring me great joy. She also introduced me to quilting.  My interest in papercrafts began about 7 years ago when I took a rubber stamp class at my local library. From that moment on, I became completely and totally addicted to cardmaking and rubber stamping. My craftroom is truly my sanctuary! I am very blessed to have such a supportive family, inspiring teachers, and wonderful friends with whom I share my love and creative expression.  My blog has afforded me the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the most talented and inspiring women all over the world.

For my post this week, I colored up a rubber stamp, Robin Pushay's "Just a Little Love."   I am a lover of all things mermaid and under the sea, so this was fitting for me to choose.  This little mermaid is colored with copic markers and spica pens. The image is colored using the "feather blending" technique. I have added pearls, die cuts and lowers to embellish the image.
For more details on this card, you can see them on my blog, My Eclectic Spirit, here.   Thank you for the warm welcome.  Why not join our new challenge happening right now on the Crafts and Me Challenge blog, "Charmed, I'm Sure (Add a Charm)."  Have a great day!

Different Techniques

Hello everyone, Karina here today with some more inspiration for you. Both of the cards I show you today are quite different style as I do usually. I am wondering what you think about.

The first project is made with 'Pale Rose' from Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I wanted to make a more CAS card and using my new hexagon die. I guess it turned out quite nice.

Here's a close-up of the image...

The second card I show you today is the one I made for our last challenge where we had the theme 'Doily Heaven'. I wanted to try a no colouring technique and created a monochrome card. I used beautiful 'Daisy' from Sara Burrier.

Just today our wonderful digi dynamite team started a new challenge with the theme 'Charmed, I am sure'. They are asking to add a charm. We look forward to see you joining us.

Hugs, Karina

They are by my favourite artist Hannah Lynn & they are sooooooooo yummy gorgeous!!!
This fabulous new stamp is ''Annabelle'' isn't she just soooooooo pretty, I lurve her hair & dress ;0)

I did of course colour her with copics & added glitter to her butterflies. I made a mistake or 2 with the pleats, especially towards the back :0(

This is my latest card I did the current challenge which is 'Doily Heaven' & you still have time to enter it peeps.
The stamp I've used on this card is ''Lily'' by The Stampsmith & she is perfect for those vintage type cards or even as a quick card as she requires no colouring ;0)

For more details on any of these cards you can of course see them on my blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by & hope you liked the new stamp, there are more being shown this week.

Say hello to Minna

Good Morning Crafts and Me followers,
First of all I would like to say a massive thank you to Trish and Amy who have been with me from the very start of C&M for their amazing work and dedication to the team and store all these years, who have now left to start new adventures.
 Karen who has been with us for over a year now will sadly be leaving us after her last post on the 27th Febuary, we will miss her stunning creations, ideas and banter behind the scenes.
We all wish our friends well in whatever they are doing now and in the future.

                           ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now for some happy news!!!
We have the very Talented Minna from Finland joining our Dynamite digi team as from today and every other Friday on Digi Day here on the store blog and digi challenge days on the challenge blog.
Minna has her very own unique style of crafting which I love and I am sure you will love too!
Here is something about me:
"Hi, my name is Minna Paajanen. I live in Äänekoski, central of Finland with my husband and our seven children.
Since I was a little girl I have done everything with my hands; knitting, sewing, crocheting etc. But in the end of 2008 I found paper crafting by my friend and I started with 3d cards. Soon it was changed for stamping and coloring and I’m on this road!"
I love all the beautiful vintage and shabby things. I love to use a lot of lace and gauze on my cards.
Here is my first card with Crafts and Me. The beautiful digital stamp is called "A Mothers Love", created by Teresa Sherman. You will find this digi HERE.
I have colored the image with Distress Inks, some flowers and ofcourse lace and gauze:)
It would be lovely if you could leave Minna a message to welcome her here!
