Skulls and Stars and my 1st Tutorial(Triple Easel)
Good morning i hope you are all well, i am one happy lady at the moment i am to be a grandmother(Nannie) for the 1st time in August and my son Daniel and his lovely wife Joanne have just told me it,s a Girl!!!!!And my second son Matthew is getting married 3rd September so happiness all round (-:
Right now back to the job in hand today i am posting my 1st Tutorial and i hope you can follow it!!!
A lot of you commented on the Triple Easal card i made for The Crafts and Me Blog Hop and asked how i made it so i decided to do a Tutorial. It looks complicated but in actual fact it,s very easy to make. The stamp i used is Gorgeous STARS and SKULLS a Crafts and Me stamp by artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith for my main image
For the Basic card you will need-:
1 Piece of 12"x12" CARD
1 Scoring Board and a pencil to mark the measurements.
You can decorate the card as you like so the rest is up to you.
1= Cut your 12"x12" Card down to 8"x12" and score down the middle at the 4" mark as in pic below
2= On the 12" side Measure at 4" and 8" and mark with a pencil ,then at both the marks cut down to the fold which is half way down you will now have 3 4" sections.See pic below.
3=Then score Diagonally each 4" section (making sure they all face the same way)
see Pic below
Then fold over each diagonal as in pic Below.
You are now ready to decorate as you wish below is the card with the folds up.
Heres 2 pics of the card i made flat so you can see how i,ve decorated each section.
And heres more pics of the card two closeups and one at a different angle.
I do hope you are able to follow my instructions and i look forward to seeing what you create.
Oh and one BIG TIP make sure that you have any image, sentiment or embellishment facing the right way before you stick anything down one mistake i did lol!!!!!
Tomorrow sees a new challenge over on the Crafts and Me challenge blog HERE pop on over to see all the gorgeous creations made by the Digi Team and see what they have chosen this week.
(hugs)
