Sweet Selena

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)
Sylvia here, with two cards that I want to show you. Both are created using the adorable images designed by Hannah Lynn

The first one is using 'Sweet Selena'...mmm.. doesn't she look 'yummy' with all the chocolate dipped strawberries and that sweet little cupcakes in her hair? ;-)

The second one is not brand new, but my very first card using a Hannah Lynn stamp design and it's one of my all time favorite cards using a Crafts and Me stamp :-) and I hope you like it, too. The image is a digi stamp called 'Hidden Treasures'

I hope you enjoyed your stay on our blog and we hope to see you over at our CHALLENGE BLOG where the digi team has a brand new challenge ('ribbon') for you starting today! :-)

If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It!

Morning everyone,
I would like to welcome our fabulous new D.T Sylvia. I was so happy that Sylvia said yes to joining us merry bunch of D.Ts. With her variety of cardmaking skills Sylvia will fit in perfectly, and will be a lovely asset to Crafts and Me, the team and the blogs.

Here's a little Bio from Sylvia followed by her 1st post

Hi everyone! I'm Sylvia, 42 years old and I am living with my beloved DH and my four sons (aged 18, 17, 8 and 6 years) in the wonderful South of the Black Forest (Germany). There are also two dogs belonging to our family who are both Search and Rescue dogs in the German Red Cross with DH and me as their handlers. As you probably can figure, my life sometimes is a little bit busy and hectic ;-) My 'therapy' to relax is stamping, colouring and creating cards! I enjoy colouring with my Tombow markers and watercolor pencils.
I'm super excited to be on such a fabulous team and be able to work with all the wonderful Crafts and Me stamps!

*******************

Hi everyone, Sylvia here being totally thrilled to write my very first post as a new D.T of Crafts and Me!
Thanks Teresa for your sweet intro! I'm still soooo very excited to be part of this wonderful team, as from now!

As an 'intro' I would like to show you some cards I made with Crafts and Me stamps.
(please click on the image to view in full size!)

I used the adorable stamp 'Thumbelina Faith' designed by Sara Burrier for Crafts and Me Stamps to create this card. I just HAD TO use the sentiment 'if you can dream it, you can do it' because I thought this is just perfect in two ways: I thought it fit's this fantas(y)tic image so very well AND it's exactly what I felt when I got Teresa's message that she wants me to be on her D.T :)

So.. what are YOU waiting for.. dream it... and DO it :)

But wait.. I have two more cards that I want to share with you.
You might have seen them on my blog, because I did them some time ago with two of the wonderful digi stamps that Crafts and Me are offering!

I used 'Hidden Treasures' by artist Hannah Lynn to create this card:
(please click on the image to view in full size!)

Isn't the mermaid just adorable! I totally LOVE this wonderful and detailed stamp!!!
Here's an additional close up of the coloured image itself:

For the next card, I used 'The Infinite Star' by artist Sara Burrier:

More close up pictures can be found on my blog HERE

Wishing you all a fabulous Wednesday and have a wonderful, creative week!
Thanks for stopping by!

I feel like a blog-virgin!

Good Morning everyone,
Today is the turn for me to introduce you to Mona who will be on our fabby digi team, I was delighted when Mona said yes to joining us teamies.
Mona will be giving you some great idea's on her cards using our digi stamps so keep coming back to check out her creations.

Here is a little about Mona:-

I have been married to my wonderful husband Yngve, since the summer of 2010. Together we have a 3 year old daughter. I also have a 12 year old daughter from an earlier relationship. Currently i am working part time but that is ok, course i then get more time to craft. I started making cards in the beginning of 2009. It was my hubby`s stepmother that got me hooked on it. And now i can`t stop. When i was young i did a lot of drawing but i was not any good so this type of creating is perfect for me. It is not so long ago since i was introduced to digi stamps and i just loooove them. They are so versatile. You can flip them, resize them...whatever fits your needs, and this is just perfect. Not to mention how easy they are to store, lol. My favourite styles are vintage and grunge but i try not to get stuck on them so i do different styles most of the time. I have also gottn interested in steampunk but i haven`t done much of this. I love to try new things and i don`t only do cards. Altreations and tags is also amongst the things i like to do. To get picked as a member for this team is such an honour and i look forward to getting to know the girls and also come to your blogs and visit as many of you as i can.

Hugs...Mona

Hey there everyone!

This is sooooo exciting!!! It is finally my turn to show you my card for the day.
I am above and beyond thrilled to get picked by Teresa to join her digi-team here at Crafts and Me. I still can`t believe i made it. I am so happy to get to work with this extraordinary talented bunch of girls. They have really made some fantastic creations this past week. I am sure that i have naged hole in Teresa`s and Vix`s heads about every little thing, so i hope they`ll put up with me for at least a few days, lol. Well now they will be sorry course i`m not that easy to get rid of, lol. This is only my second DT position and i still feel like a blog-virgin, lol. I hope everyone will forgive me if i write something that sounds waaaayyyy off. I am from Norway and i am not so familiar with all the slang and phrases in the english language so if anything looks weird it is just the crazy norwegian that tries to sound cool, lol. Well enough rambling....

For this first post of mine i have chosen to use a digi-stamp from the talented Hannah Lynn called Hidden Treasures, which you can find here. She is a true beauty, don`t you think? I was inspired by the lavender colour at one of the pictures from this weeks challenge. The image is coloured with ProMarkers and the background is painted with distress ink. And since i love everything glittery i just had to make her necklace a golden chain.

As most of you may have noiced we are celebrating that Crafts and Me challenges has been up and running for a year. In that occacion Teresa is giving away 8 digi-stamps of your choice, from our own digi-collection. The drawing will take place with random org after the end of this weeks challenge. So be sure to visit the Crafts and Me challenges and join in on the fun. Thats all from me folks. Hope you like my card.

Thanks for looking.
Hugs...Mona :-)

My First Outing :-) and New digi release day

Good Morning everyone,

First of all I would like to say my heart goes out to Japan with the loss and devastation they are having to endure we cannot imagine what they are going through.

Today we have released EIGHT NEW DIGI STAMPS HERE in the store FOR YOU and there are some beauties from Sara Burrier, including some lovely digi backgrounds that you can use with your other stamps.

Things are changing here at crafts and me, we are now going to have a digi team that will be showcasing some of the new digi's, we have some really talented ladies joining us and you will get to meet each one of them everyday this week starting from today, showing you all the things you can do with digi's in your cardmaking and projects.
Our 1st talented Digi D.T member I would like to introduce you to is Sheila, I am so pleased to have such a clever designer on the Crafts and Me team with her innovative ideas and use of products.

Here is a little Bio from Sheila followed by her 1st post.

Hi I'm Sheila, AKA doubtfiresmusing,
I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember...tried most things from knitting, crochet, sewing I even had a go at Macrame ( the art of knotting), & cross-stiching...then in 2003 I stumbled onto QVC and saw Dawn Bibby demoing her paper crafting skills and thought mm I wouldn't mind giving that a go, and the rest as they say is History..:-).
I've tried most techniques out there, but stamping is the one I love the most be it rubba or digis, I just love to colour.. and after all the year of practise I'm finally beginning to get there.

Hiya peeps well this is my first DT for Crafts and Me Digi team :-), can't express how chuffed I was when Vix & Teresa asked me to join the team, these digi images are just fabulous!!.
Here's my first of hopefully many :-).. she's called DUSK and you can find her right HERE.

She's been coloured with Copics and a bit of French Grey 70% prisma pencil for added shading on her dress.

Here is the Hannah Lynn Hidden Treasure I did a couple of weeks ago also, once again
coloured with Copics, you will find Hidden treasures right HERE.
I am really looking forward to working alongside some awesome ladies, I Hope I can inspire
some long a way.
Happy Crafting Peeps
