Skulls and Stars and my 1st Tutorial(Triple Easel)

Good morning i hope you are all well, i am one happy lady at the moment i am to be a grandmother(Nannie) for the 1st time in August and my son Daniel and his lovely wife Joanne have just told me it,s a Girl!!!!!And my second son Matthew is getting married 3rd September so happiness all round (-:

Right now back to the job in hand today i am posting my 1st Tutorial and i hope you can follow it!!!
A lot of you commented on the Triple Easal card i made for The Crafts and Me Blog Hop and asked how i made it so i decided to do a Tutorial. It looks complicated but in actual fact it,s very easy to make. The stamp i used is Gorgeous STARS and SKULLS a Crafts and Me stamp by artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith for my main image
For the Basic card you will need-:

1 Piece of 12"x12" CARD
1 Scoring Board and a pencil to mark the measurements.
You can decorate the card as you like so the rest is up to you.

1= Cut your 12"x12" Card down to 8"x12" and score down the middle at the 4" mark as in pic below

2= On the 12" side Measure at 4" and 8" and mark with a pencil ,then at both the marks cut down to the fold which is half way down you will now have 3 4" sections.See pic below.

3=Then score Diagonally each 4" section (making sure they all face the same way)
see Pic below

Then fold over each diagonal as in pic Below.

You are now ready to decorate as you wish below is the card with the folds up.

Heres 2 pics of the card i made flat so you can see how i,ve decorated each section.

And heres more pics of the card two closeups and one at a different angle.

I do hope you are able to follow my instructions and i look forward to seeing what you create.
Oh and one BIG TIP make sure that you have any image, sentiment or embellishment facing the right way before you stick anything down one mistake i did lol!!!!!

Tomorrow sees a new challenge over on the Crafts and Me challenge blog HERE pop on over to see all the gorgeous creations made by the Digi Team and see what they have chosen this week.
(hugs)

Me again,
You would not believe the mess I got into making my card last night, first the ink pad was playing up refusing to give me a stamped image as it had almost run out, I then stamped the image on a funny textured paper that was blue thinking, Mmmmm that will give the skin a pale blue colour to mix in with the Avatar people great! What a mistake that was, all went well until I was half way through colouring then I noticed all the ink was over the side of my hand where it was not drying and had been smudging because of the paper I chose.
I hear you saying didn't you notice that while colouring NO, NO,NO it was 2.30a.m in the morning and I was so tired I didn't notice, my Daughter was laughing at me as she could see all my mistakes and even offered to take over.
I had to start all over again from scratch, Roll on when I get the fabby LETRASET MARKERS IN STOCK NEXT WEEK hopefully they will improve my colouring, I am expecting so much from these little babies and Vix's tutorials have got to help lol!
Any way, enough talking and blabbing on, here is my masterpiece ha!ha!

I choose the 2nd picture as I love bright colours
The stamp is Jasmine Becket-Griffith Skulls and Stars

Don't forget to pop over and join in the challenge will you!!

Have a great day everyone,

My Very First Post as a Crafts and Me DT Member

, mHello everyone,
I would like to introduce you to our 1st new fabulous D.T member Angela, I am absolutely thrilled that Angela has agreed to join our fabby D.T'S I have always been an admirer of her work with her excellant cardmaking skills and array of use of colours.
Many of you may recognise her as I have posted some of Angela's work on here before, but now you are going to see Angela's creations regularly and she will be a lovely asset to Crafts and Me, the team and the blogs.
Angela is the first of a lovely new team joining us here at Crafts and Me that you will be seeing over the following week or too!
So keep popping back to meet them and wish them luck! not that they need it they are a very talented bunch of ladies...

Here is a little Bio from Angela followed by her 1st post.

Hi, I’m Angela and I live in the USA in the Bible Belt state of Tennessee. I am a 36 year old wife of almost 11 years and Mom to 3 gorgeous children. I have a 17 year old daughter , Destiny, my Son Bailey is 10 and my youngest little girl Jazmine is 6. I have been scrapbooking for 10 years and making cards for about 4, but only really got into it when I got my first copics in my hands. And I haven’t looked back since. I love to color and sometime I sit and watch TV/movies with the family and sit and color for hours. My favorite images to color is Fairies, Angels and Mermaids. I love to color images that look like a piece of art you would hang on your wall when you have finished coloring them.
I am so excited that Teresa has ask me to be a part of her Crafts and Me Design Team as I love her line of stamps/artist. I can’t wait to get started and get to know all of you better. HugsJ Angela

This is my first creation for Crafts and Me and my name is Angela. Yes, I am now on the Crafts and Me Design Team and I am beyond excited. I love Crafts and Me's own line of stamps. I used one of the New Stamps line she started caring last month. It's Jasmine Becket-Griffith!!!! When I first saw these AWESOME stamps being previewed on the Crafts and Me Blog by the DT I was so excited I was dancing in my chair and smiling from ear to ear. I have always wanted to see Jasmine Becket-Griffith's artwork turned into stamps so I could color them. As I have been a HUGE fan of Jasmine's artwork for a long time now and now I get to create for Crafts and Me and work with all these talented and sweet bunch of Ladies.
I used her Make a Wish stamp that you can purchase for your HERE at Crafts and Me UK Store.

Bare with me as I get the hang of posting here on the Crafts and Me blog. I hope that my work inspires you.

I absolutely LOVE this image. Doesn't she have the cutest and sweetest little face and eyes? I have just falling in love with thesestamps and I can't wait till the next release of more of her images.

It also made her skin look alot lighter than it really is. For this card I used another Jasmine Becket-Griffith image/stamp called "Skulls and Stars".

Here is the best close up image of her I could get.

I used some DCWV DP from the La Creme' paperstack, Black and light gray CS, Acetate photo mat/frame, Recollections black chipboard Frame sanded and then distressing inks ran over it, little skulls apoxy sticker embellishments, brushed nickel brads and ColorBok black flourishes, the star embellishment is a Jewery making Charm, and Foam tape to pop image up.
