Welcome to our new D.T Sara Winter

Good Morning everyone,
I would like to introduce you to the new member of our family here at Crafts and Me, Sara Winter
has joined the digi team and she will be sharing with you her amazing art work and creations.
It would be lovely if you could all give her a big welcome here with a comment to make her feel at home.

This is a little bio from Sara followed by her 1st post.

Hi everyone i'm Sara i'm from Lancashire in the Uk and i am a stay at home mum to two gorgeous little boys . I have always loved to craft in one form or another think ive tried just about everything along the way then 6 years ago after my first son was born i discovered scrapbooking which soon led to card making and ive been hooked ever since !! My love now is definitely stamps and colouring i like to use different mediums and i'm equally happy playing with distress inks copics or prisma's i love the diferent effects you get with each . I am so excited to be part of this amazing team I have always loved fairy/fantasy art and to get to work with these beautiful images really is a dream .

Well how excited am i to be posting on here !!!! a little nervous too i admit its such a talented team !! so i'll jump straight in and show you my card i guess , I chose a beautiful Sara Burrier image called Teas and Sandwiches and sat ready to colour then thought hmmm i wonder what would happed if i combined it with another image .... so i added in Dear Diary also by Sara and here's what i came up with

the thing with me is i dont think ive really grown out of the faries at the bottom of the garden thing !! so i guess this is the little scene i spent most of my childhood searching for !!

I coloured with copics used some background stamps for the papers and crocheted the flower and with a few more flowers and lace thats my little secret world !!

Messenger by Sara Burrier

Hey everyone!

Waaaayyy too late but here i am at last. So i will make this one a short one... hmmm maybe i said that the last time too, lol. I think i really have trouble with keeping things short. I am allways so good at rambling on, lol....

Well for my card today i have used one of the brand new digis from Sara Burrier called Messenger. I think it looks amazing but my mojo has obviously taken a vacation course i truly struggeled with this one. But finally i managed to finish the card and hopefully some of you like it, lol.


I think i will have to reset my camera course i didn`t manage to get a desent photo of the card but i`m in a hurry here so this will have to do for now.

I`m also very quick just going to show you the card i made for the last digi team challenge. The image is called Dear Diary and this one is also designed by Sara Burrier. You can find it right here.

Sparkle and shine

Yippee it is Saturday and the weather here is lovely I hope it is where you are too :D I have two little 4x4 cards to share with you today. The first is my card for this weeks Crafts and Me challenge as hosted by the brilliant digi team which is glitter. I can never get enough glitter and sparkle so it is a perfect challenge for me. I coloured up this adorable Sara Burrier digi called Dear diary (grab her HERE) with promarkers then mounted her on foam pads. The glitter all around the edge was some double sided tape that I just ran all the way round it and then COVERED in gorgeous glitter :D

For my second card I thought I would try something different for me and try to colour in just the grey colours. I am not too sure about the result but will keep working on it as I like the idea lol. This brilliant stamp is called Violet Angel and is currently out of stock but I am sure will be back HERE very soon. For this card I inked round the edges in pink then in the purple before stamping my angel straight on to the card blank and colouring her.

Welcome Carisa!!!

Hello Peeps!
Today I would like to wish a BIG welcome the lovely Carisa who is the 2nd artistic lady joining our new exciting digi design team, you will not be disapointed by all the lovely creations that Carisa will be making throughout the year!
Here is a few words from Carisa followed by her first creation.



I have been married 10 years to my amazing high school sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful kids together. I am super blessed to be a full time stay at home mom. I am a stamper at heart and love making cards. Put some fresh rubber in one hand and some copics in the other and I am happy. I have met some amazing women all over the world thanks to the wonderful world of blogging who share this fun hobby with me. I've come across new stamp companies, new techniques and love learning something new all the time. I'm so thrilled to be part of the very first Crafts and Me digital stamp design team. My favorite part of using digital stamps is the INSTANT gratification of downloading and printing a new image right away!!

I am so over the moon excited to be part of the Crafts and Me digi team! When Teresa asked me, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming! And when I saw the new digi's that were hitting the store, I just HAD to grab Dear Diary available here for my debut post. If you haven't guessed by my blog name *giggle* I have a soft spot for fairies & elves & all things magical - one of the reasons I'm obsessed with the fabulous Crafts and Me stamps. :D I'm always nervous when I make a new card for a new DT, so I hope I've done justice with this gorgeous image. I colored her with copics and added LOTS of shimmer with some silver smooch and pearl glimmer mist here(temporarily out of stock but due in soon)on the mushrooms as well as my atyou glitter pens but the camera never catches that subtle shine well.

I look forward to inspiring you to all the possibilities of these fabulous digi stamps by Crafts and Me!!
