Seasons canvasses

Hello, I'm Jane and it's my first post on the Crafts and Me blog today. I'm so thrilled to be able to share my creations with you using the gorgeous digi stamps from Crafts and Me! I have decorated a canvas depicting autumn to share with you today.

The image is the gorgeous Noon from Crafts and Me - she is just stunning and perfect to depict autumn with all those little squirrels! I have used lots of texture and rich autumn colours. For more details on what I've used please see my own blog here. Of course, to make my wall display complete I need the other seasons - here is my summer canvas below that I created for last week's Crafts and Me Challenge.

I used the gorgeous Valentine's Night for this one and again lots of texture in fresh light colours for summer. You can find out more about this one here.

Hope you like them and I've inspired you to create something a little different with your stamps! Have a wonderful day! x

Just little 'ol me today

Hiya everyone I hope you are all going to have a great and relaxing weekend. I have a couple of cards for you today. This first one was my card for last weeks Crafts and Me challenge which was to be inspired by a great picture that the lovely Vicky choose. I just had to ink up the stunning Turn to Hesed stamp available HERE. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles :D

Then because I just can not resist a challenge and this week is the first ever digi team challenge I made this one using the new digi called Valentines night available HERE. I changed the colour of the lines from black to brown so that it fits better with my colour combo and printed it straight onto the design paper.

Well I hope you like them and don't forget there is still time to take part in the first every digi team challenge at Crafts and Me challenge and have the chance to win a great prize of a £10 gift voucher to spend on anything you like in the Crafts and me store. Anything goes for this first challenge so what are you waiting for :D

Hugs

Amy xx

Introducing Mina

,Hello Everybody,
Last but not least this is Mina our final lovely D.T member joining the new digi team.
I was over the moon when Mina said yes to joining us,I have been admiring her artistic work for some time now and I am so excited to see what Mina will be inspiring us with.
Mina will be a great asset to Crafts and me and our blogs so keep popping by to see the beautiful creations being posted here.

A few words from Mina:

Yoohhhoooooo everyone I'm Mina and I live in Northern Ireland, although originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne, I have been married to the wonderful Phil for 35 years (this month), and we have a stunningly beautiful 26 year old Daughter...I have a total addiction for paper and ribbon and beautifully drawn images and use Distress inks, a paintbrush and water to colour, since I started my blog just over two years ago I have made some wonderful friends and am hugely lucky that I'm a member of some amazing DT's...I am absolutely thrilled that Teresa asked me to be part of this amazing new team...I hope you like my work and what I do and if I can inspire you a little bit it would be icing on the cake and you never know we could even have some fun along the way
For my first card I used two amazing digi's from Crafts and Me...the stunningly beautiful Valentines night and the fantastic Carriage in the background

I think these two images go together beautifully don't you...I coloured them with Distress inks and glittered them up, I hate photographing glitter don't you but have found if you tilt it sideways it shows much better...right I will leave you in peace to enjoy the rest of your Sunday...have a brilliant one
Mina xxx
p.s. please excuse the mugshot but I hate my photo taken and this is about 9 months old and I had a sore face at the time...I will get a new one soon well when I get my hair cut anyway lol

I'm an oldie but a goodie!

Helloooooo! Are you enjoying meeting our new digi team? In case you didn't read the exciting news we're now going to be running our challenges weekly alternating between the teams so we can also have a banter with each other too lol! And whats more there is an extra special prize on this week as the challenge blog is a year old yay!! Pop over HERE and have a look for a chance to win a $20 voucher for sweet pea stamps plus Teresa has added an extra prize of 8 digi stamps!

As the new team are showing their mugshots this week I'd best keep up with the trend even if I am an oldie! I hate having my photo taken! This is me looking mumsy with my 2 littlest, Ethan just turned 4 and Molly 2 and a half :) Thats quite tame for me lol! My hair changes colour more times than a chameleon, was black and pink recently!

As mentionned previously there are some fab new digi stamps in store and this one is Valentines night by Sara Burrier, reminds me a bit of my two! I've used a variety of mediums, mainly promarkers and coloursoft pencil and then some sakura stardust and distress ink. I dont usually do green but there seems to be an awful lot of green challenges this week so I've taken the plunge!

Now this one I challenged myself a little. I know theres a growing trend for colouring images on Kraft paper so I recently got some to try it out and this is my first attempt. Its all coloursoft pencils, what do you think? Also a completely different style to my norm but I do like to challenge myself sometimes to step out of the comfort zone, that way you might discover a flair for something. Actually it was our Sheila who's just joined the team who sent my my first copic pen so I could add shadows around the images! (I switched to promarkers after 3 months!)

This is a rubber stamp by Lemon shortbread called "Petal Melody" Isnt she just beautiful!

And finally another Melody I made a week or so back called Cocktail Melody, isn't she just fabulous dahhhhling! She's also great for practicing colouring hair on!

Well thats all from me, pop back tomorrow to meet another new teamie! Also a quick mention of you're on Facebook, we have a site there too HERE, please feel free to upload your crafts and me stamped projects, we'd love to see them and click LIKE!!
