Many of you may recognise her as I have posted some of Angela's work on here before, but now you are going to see Angela's creations regularly and she will be a lovely asset to Crafts and Me, the team and the blogs.
Angela is the first of a lovely new team joining us here at Crafts and Me that you will be seeing over the following week or too!
So keep popping back to meet them and wish them luck! not that they need it they are a very talented bunch of ladies...

Here is a little Bio from Angela followed by her 1st post.

Hi, I’m Angela and I live in the USA in the Bible Belt state of Tennessee. I am a 36 year old wife of almost 11 years and Mom to 3 gorgeous children. I have a 17 year old daughter , Destiny, my Son Bailey is 10 and my youngest little girl Jazmine is 6. I have been scrapbooking for 10 years and making cards for about 4, but only really got into it when I got my first copics in my hands. And I haven’t looked back since. I love to color and sometime I sit and watch TV/movies with the family and sit and color for hours. My favorite images to color is Fairies, Angels and Mermaids. I love to color images that look like a piece of art you would hang on your wall when you have finished coloring them.
I am so excited that Teresa has ask me to be a part of her Crafts and Me Design Team as I love her line of stamps/artist. I can’t wait to get started and get to know all of you better. HugsJ Angela

This is my first creation for Crafts and Me and my name is Angela. Yes, I am now on the Crafts and Me Design Team and I am beyond excited. I love Crafts and Me's own line of stamps. I used one of the New Stamps line she started caring last month. It's Jasmine Becket-Griffith!!!! When I first saw these AWESOME stamps being previewed on the Crafts and Me Blog by the DT I was so excited I was dancing in my chair and smiling from ear to ear. I have always wanted to see Jasmine Becket-Griffith's artwork turned into stamps so I could color them. As I have been a HUGE fan of Jasmine's artwork for a long time now and now I get to create for Crafts and Me and work with all these talented and sweet bunch of Ladies.
I used her Make a Wish stamp that you can purchase for your HERE at Crafts and Me UK Store.

Bare with me as I get the hang of posting here on the Crafts and Me blog. I hope that my work inspires you.

I absolutely LOVE this image. Doesn't she have the cutest and sweetest little face and eyes? I have just falling in love with thesestamps and I can't wait till the next release of more of her images.

It also made her skin look alot lighter than it really is. For this card I used another Jasmine Becket-Griffith image/stamp called "Skulls and Stars".

Here is the best close up image of her I could get.

I used some DCWV DP from the La Creme' paperstack, Black and light gray CS, Acetate photo mat/frame, Recollections black chipboard Frame sanded and then distressing inks ran over it, little skulls apoxy sticker embellishments, brushed nickel brads and ColorBok black flourishes, the star embellishment is a Jewery making Charm, and Foam tape to pop image up.

Here's some I made earlier

In Blue Peter style! Are we sitting down, go grab a coffee I may be some time....!

First up is my challenge card for this week and is ADRIANNA by Hannah Lynn. She is probably one of the easiest of the range to colour, all skin and hair lol! I've added some tiny 2mm iridescent crystals to the bodice and filled the gaps wth stickles and a sprinkle of glamour dust. The background was done with the letrajet (promarker airbrush)

This little beauty is CHRISTMAS MELODY. Oh yes she is!! I've hidden the xmassy candle and flowers with some small roses, voila you have a year round stamp! Looks a bit lke a bridesmaid to me, what ya think?

I love love love this image! Its a new one by Jasmine Becket-Griffith called Making a Wish. She's coloured with promarkers and pencil, the background is distress ink. Another easy one to colour so if you're a bit wary try this one :)

This one is a digi called NOON by Sara Burrier. I've enlarged and cropped and the original image is actually a little blonde girl but I kept seeing this stamp as a little afro-caribbean girl and think she looks lovely in dark tones. She's finished with a spray of iridescent gold glimmer mist

This is also NOON done another way. I've added a swing and a tree and coloured mainly with pencils, promarkers for the skin and painted the wings with an iridescent blue which you can see when you turn the card into the lght (2nd pic)

Been playng with my letrajet again lol! This one is VIOLET FAIRY by Jasmine Becket-Griffith coloured with promarkers, the background is all promarker letrajet and masking.

This is the new Flapper2 Melody, such a glam puss! I added some tiny detal to her bracelet with sakura stardust pens using clear and red, I love the lemon shortbread range, theres a few new ones there too, see them here.

Another gorgeous digi from Hannah Lynn, this one is FOREVER ROSE. I kept thinkng of the rose from Beauty and the beast for this. I added a pale blue to her hand for some glow. I think this is the first time I've ever done one of Hannahs with brown hair!
Last but not least, this is SHOPPING MELODY, she's a girl who knows what she wants! I coloured with promarkers then added a darker band with pencil (I use derwent coloursoft and Faber-Castell polychromos) Then I've used a white gel pen to add spots to match the DP's

Thats all from me for now! Just gong to have a play with petal melody as I've been itching to have a go at her!

Making A Wish

Hi everyone hope you've all had a lovely jubbly weekend.
Well today is my day to show you a card using a stamp from Crafts & Me.
I did have another card all done using a different stamp but I cannot remember at all what I've done with it... I have been doing it all weekend putting things down & then not remembering where I've put it!! Apparently they say its called getting older......nerrrrr it cant be that.....I'm just erm.....tired yeah thats the word.
Anyway I was getting myself in such a tizz so instead I threw another card together well not literally threw lol.
So here is 'Making A Wish' by Jasmine Becket-Griffith.
I absolutely love this colour combo my daughter's bedroom is gonna be the same colour...pink & black.

She is coloured with Copics & Promarkers. Sprinkling of glitter was added to her wings & silver stickles were added to the fairy's wings. White gel pen was also used to do some highlighting streaks in her hair & also a gold gel pen in places too.

The ribbon & lace are from my stash. The paper is from Pink Petticoat 'Perfect Papers' the gingham I think might be Nitiwits. All pink & black card used is A4 card from The Paper Mill.

The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts & I sprayed it with Gold Glimmer Mist here to give that bit of sparkle. The black roses are from Crafty Emma's.

The inside is decorated to compliment the front.
Well I hope you like my card today. Dont forget there is a bit of time left to enter our Challenge here, so if you have wings to show us then come fly to us all you pretties out there.
Pop back tomorrow for some more DT yumminess.

New Release - Jasmine Becket

Good afternoon everyone hope you all had a good weekend, I'm looking forward to Friday already & we've only just started a new week, lol, I love the weekends cus then my kiddies are home altho I dont think my 20 year old will be happy calling him a kiddie lol.
Anyway I am running MEGA late today....yes I know again lol.
So with little chit-chat from me I will show what you have come here to see.
Yes today I have a new release to show. Teresa has the most fantastic artists working for her.....my fave artist was Hannah Lynn but now Teresa has that many fab artists I just cant choose......all the images are just fab. Anyway, I babbling again the new release I am showing is another from the oh so talented artist
Jasmine Becket-Griffith, her art is just gorgeous click on her name to check her out!!
The stamp I am showing you today I'm sure should have my name to be honest cus its my fave so it should be rightly called Vicky....yayyy lol. Its not tho ;0( lol she is called
'Making A Wish' fairy if you click on her name it will take you straight to the portrait of her.
Now I have chosen to go with the same colours for mine as Jasmine but I did a lighter skin tone, altho it looks no where near as good as hers but I soooo enjoyed colouring her, I really did!!!
Isn't she just soooo beautiful....I will be using this stamp A LOT I tell ya lol. I look at this as tho its showing that she has a little guardian angel on her shoulder.....its just fabulous!!!

The stamp was stamped onto this card (which is fabulous) with memento ink & then the image was coloured with Promarkers & Copics. The white is done with a white gel pen. She has also had a light spritz of Gold glimmer mist which you can also get from Crafts & Me.

The flower is from Wild Orchid & I also sprayed it with the Gold glimmer mist if you click on the photo hopefully you will just be able to see the sparkle. Altho its gold its not over-powering its very subtle. Even the love heart doily has it on & I than dried it with my heat gun & over-heated it in places to get an aged look to it. The love-heart doily is from my stash I've had them forever & really cant remember where I got them from. The small white doily however is from Crafty Emma's.

I hope you like this card & I certainly hope you like the stamp cus she really is fabulous & could be used for soooo many purposes.
These stamps will be released at the Stamperama show in Stevenage on the 6th February Teresa will announce when they will be getting released in store on the 7th February.....so if you would like to get your mitts on them before anyone else does then pop along to the show & see Teresa.
Pop back to here every day as the team are showcasing new releases every day until the show & you really dont want to miss out on any of these newbies cus they are all amazing.
Dont forget there is still time to enter our Mono Challenge here.
Also dont forget if you register to Crafts & Me newsletter you get 10% discount on all new releases....now that means more crafty goodies you could buy with your dosh.....who can say no to that!!!!
Well thats it from me I hope you are loving these new releases as much as us girls are. Dont forget all of these new stamps you can get at the show before they are even released at the store.
Thank you soooo much for stopping by I really appreciate it.
Take care everyone & keep smiling
