Black and White Colouring

Hi everyone, Karina here with two cards to show you. I must confess that I really got hooked by black and white or monochrome colouring. And I wanted to give it a try at one of my favourite images by Crafts and Me, at Janna Prosvirina's Clematis. And I love the result. I coloured her with Distress Inks.

I combined a bit of yellow touch for the background of the image. This way it doesn't look to much as a sympathy card.

The second card I show you today is the one I made for our last Crafts and Me Challenge where we had the theme Distressing. I love distressing parts of my cards. It gives a great look and a touch of vintage. Here I used a Janna Prosvirina image as well; Belladonna. I also coloured with Distress Inks.

Here you can see a close up of image and my distressing around the image...

Wish you a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina

Christmas Belladonna

Happy Friday Peeps,

Well it's only a week to go until Christmas and I am nowhere near ready.  I'm planning to get the decs up this weekend and catch up with my best mate with a couple of drinks and boy do I need a night out.  I still have some shopping to do but am aiming to head out late tomorrow afternoon hoping that everyone would have gone in the morning.  Wish me luck.

I have made a few chrsitmas cards using the Fairies from Crafts and Me.  I've used traditional colours.  The fairies seemed to have been a popular choice for Christmas this year and I can see why, isn't she a beauty.

A Fairy Christmas

Hi Everyone,

I'm chasing my tail again, nothing new.  I am now seriously looking forward to Christmas.  My house is a mess and my dining table is covered with cards being packaged up for a craft fair on Saturday.  I have orders to fulfil and not enough hours in the day.  Can anyone help, lol?

Today's card is a commissioned card, basically my customer wanted me to create a Christmas Card the same as my challenge card but using the Crafts and Me Belladonna image.  I'm not too good at recreating but hopefully you'll think these two look alike..... if not I'm in trouble.  I apologise for the photo I will replace when I'm home in daylight.  I have used Belladonna available HERE to create this Christmas Card.

And here's the challenge card that prompted the order, using the "Bride/Flapper" Art Deco image available HERE.

You can see this one was taken in good light.  Roll on Christmas and my new ott light.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Not a lot to share

Hi Everyone, I don't have a new card to share with you as I thought I had one more day till my post.  We have been busy with kids homework, Destiny's car wreck and we just found and bought her a new car.  We just need to put new brakes, wind sheild wipers, and a few small things before we let her drive it.  I will be driving it to work today to see how it drives on longer trips.
All I have to share with you is my Challenge card from last week, as my other cards are not finished yet.
I used Janna Provirina's rubber image called "Belladonna" , which is currently out of stock at Crafts and Me Stamps.

Well I have to run and hope to be back to normal next week.

Hugs:)

A few makes

Afternoon all!  Got a few to show you today, been having a right old play!  This first one is by our newest artist Janna Prosvirina and is called Belladona, she is so easy to colour, just follow the flow of the dress and she is also a larger stamp so no fiddly details to worry about.  I coloured with promarkers and ultra fine nibs and flexmarkers adding distress ink around the edge.

I used the ultra fine nibs around the berries and on the leaves to make them pop!

This pretty lady is also by Janna and is called Clematis and she is coloured with the ultra fine nibs

This one is a digi by Sara Burrier and is called Lady of Opal.  I put a digital frame around and cut out letting the hair flow outside the edge.  I kept it quite simple by embossing the white card with my scoring blade and adding faux stitching with a white gel pen.  I added crystal glitter to the wings with some glossy accents.  She is again coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers with the ultra fine nibs

And finally this beauty is one of the newest digis called Moonglow by Hannah Lynn.  Really enjoyed this one as she's got lovely lines and such a pretty face.  I used distress ink and distress stains around the edge.

Well I hope you've enjoyed my offerings, have to go pick little uns up from school now so have a nice afternoon x

Belladonna

Hi fellow crafters out there. Where have the time gone... I almost cannot believe we already have November. I still need some time to get used to the shorter days, the early darkness again.

As you already know, we have a fabulous new artist; Janna Prosvirina. And to be honest, when I saw her images first it was love for the first sight. She haves such beautiful images, four of them available as rubber at Crafts and Me

The cards I want to show you today are both made with one of the new images. On the first one I used beautiful 'Belladonna'. Isn't she such a beauty? I had so much fun playing with her. I coloured her with Distress Inks.

The second card I show you is the one I made for our last challenge over at Crafts and Me Challenge where we had the theme 'Use Blue'. I played with the amazing 'Black Rose'. Coloured with Distress Inks as well. I love that those images are bigger sized as usual. They are a real fun to work with.

Thank you so much for looking. Always much apprechiated!
And by the way... we also have some new gorgeous Digital Images from different artists.

Have a magical day!
Hugs, Karina
