Some More Show Samples............

Good morning peeps I sure hope these scheduled posts are working & Mr Blogger is being a good boy. I am currently still away with my family on holiday & hopefully having a fab chillaxing time.
Today I thought I would show you 2 more samples I made for Teresa for the Stamparama show this month. So again they are only 51/4 inch square & very flaT with little embellies........wow I'm on the very edge now lol.
First up is the card I made for the current challenge......
This is 'Sweet Selina' by Hannah Lynn. That lushious wooden heart you can also get from here.
Now onto some show samples.
First up we have 'Adrianna' by Hannah Lynn exclusive of course to Crafts & Me.
She is of course coloured with Copics & I heat embossed the nestie she is on with UTEE.
Next up we have my favourite stamp EVERRRRRRRRRR.......you know the one.....

Yes of course its 'Genevieve' by Hannah Lynn my ultimate favourite artist. I've also embossed the image a few times with UTEE. Have you noticed I forgot to colour her lips.....ooops my bad lol. I love her hair this colour it suits her I think.
The clock is an image I got quite a while ago but cant remember where, I'm thinking its a digi image. I coloured it then heat embossed it a few times & then cracked it to give an aged appearence. I thought it went well with the steampunk image.

Do check out all the stamps & digi images at Crafts & Me......mind your basket tho it tends to get full lol.
Also dont forget our current challenge which is 'Anything Goes'.......you cant get any easier than that, its one we all love!!!!!!

Tatty bye my lovelies, thank you as always for stopping by all of us DT girls soooo appreciate it.
Huge hugs Vicky

Adrianna

Hi everyone!! I'm sorry my post is late, but I hope you'll forgive me once you see this GORGEOUS stamp...hopefully worth the wait. I know I'm on the digi team but I've got some fabulous rubber from Crafts and Me as well that I just HAD to share with you today. I stamped this image off for my daughters and well, she was too tempting NOT to color up so I stamped one off for me as well! This is Adrianna:

I told you she was gorgeous!! I just love coloring all that hair! I used copics with a touch of prisma colored pencils to darken the shadows. On her tail, I used the coloreless blender to add scales and took my white gel pen to dab in the middle. I cannot wait to get my hands on some Copic Opaque white because I know that will be some fun stuff to play with!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be on time next week. :)

Hugs,
Carisa

Here's some I made earlier

In Blue Peter style! Are we sitting down, go grab a coffee I may be some time....!

First up is my challenge card for this week and is ADRIANNA by Hannah Lynn. She is probably one of the easiest of the range to colour, all skin and hair lol! I've added some tiny 2mm iridescent crystals to the bodice and filled the gaps wth stickles and a sprinkle of glamour dust. The background was done with the letrajet (promarker airbrush)

This little beauty is CHRISTMAS MELODY. Oh yes she is!! I've hidden the xmassy candle and flowers with some small roses, voila you have a year round stamp! Looks a bit lke a bridesmaid to me, what ya think?

I love love love this image! Its a new one by Jasmine Becket-Griffith called Making a Wish. She's coloured with promarkers and pencil, the background is distress ink. Another easy one to colour so if you're a bit wary try this one :)

This one is a digi called NOON by Sara Burrier. I've enlarged and cropped and the original image is actually a little blonde girl but I kept seeing this stamp as a little afro-caribbean girl and think she looks lovely in dark tones. She's finished with a spray of iridescent gold glimmer mist

This is also NOON done another way. I've added a swing and a tree and coloured mainly with pencils, promarkers for the skin and painted the wings with an iridescent blue which you can see when you turn the card into the lght (2nd pic)

Been playng with my letrajet again lol! This one is VIOLET FAIRY by Jasmine Becket-Griffith coloured with promarkers, the background is all promarker letrajet and masking.

This is the new Flapper2 Melody, such a glam puss! I added some tiny detal to her bracelet with sakura stardust pens using clear and red, I love the lemon shortbread range, theres a few new ones there too, see them here.

Another gorgeous digi from Hannah Lynn, this one is FOREVER ROSE. I kept thinkng of the rose from Beauty and the beast for this. I added a pale blue to her hand for some glow. I think this is the first time I've ever done one of Hannahs with brown hair!
Last but not least, this is SHOPPING MELODY, she's a girl who knows what she wants! I coloured with promarkers then added a darker band with pencil (I use derwent coloursoft and Faber-Castell polychromos) Then I've used a white gel pen to add spots to match the DP's

Thats all from me for now! Just gong to have a play with petal melody as I've been itching to have a go at her!

Some Showcasing ready for the show

Hello peeps how are you all? Hope you all had a fabulous relaxing weekend.
Today I'm going to show you a few of Crafts & Me stamps, these are their own exclusive range & so they are only available at Crafts & Me. Teresa is doing her very 1st show at Stamparama in Stevenage on the 6th February 2011 she would love to see any of you there..... The talented Vix is organising a book to help showcase the fabulous stamps that Teresa has in her exclusive range.... Now as some of you know sometimes we like to see an image of a stamp coloured because sometimes its hard to picture & then when you see them coloured you can then see what you could do with them.....call it inspiration!!! So for this book all the girls have worked hard at making some card fronts for Vix......this is where the hard bit came we had to keep them as flat as possible & without too many embellishments & try not to put flowers on.....the more they have the more room it takes!! We could certainly understand the reason for this but it still made go AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH.......No embellishments!! No flowers!!!
If you are like me they are my fave part of a card after the image so this job was really hard to do.
I am showing you just 3 of them that I made for the show to help showcase Teresa's fabulous stamps.
1st we have my fave artist in Teresa's range which is Hannah Lynn, she does amazing images which are so easy & enjoyable to colour & have fabulous hair....1 of my fave parts of an image.
This is Adrianna which I have had for an absolute age

Gosh I miss my embellishments & flowers!!!!!! She is coloured with PM's & Copics & I've used stickles for the fish & the spots on her gloves & top. The smooth white card for the image is also from Crafts & Me.
Next we have another Hannah Lynn

This is 'Heart On Her Sleeve' which is coming soon to Crafts & Me & she has been coloured with PM's & tiny bits of stickles added to little bits of hearts & again using the same smooth card....its one of my fave card actually for images & I have no probs at all when I'm using my digi images. It really is fabulous card!!
Last we have Lemon Shortbread who is an artist from Singapore, her images are gorgeous.

This is 'Cocktail Melody' which is another image that is coming soon to Crafts & Me & she has been coloured with Copics, isn't she just so sophisticated!! I cheated a little bit on this I used websters pages as they contain a lot of pattern & I have attached a bow.......really sorry Vix...I tried hunni I really did....it was darn hard!!! lol.
If you have any questions regarding these card fronts please feel free to e-mail me & I will help with anything I can. If you need any details regarding the show in Stevenage then I'm sure Teresa will be more than happy to help so just e-mail her....her contact details are on the shop website.
Thats it from me for now thank you so much for stopping by & looking at just a few of my samples for Teresa. Dont forget 6th February you can see these & the other fabulous cards showcased by the very talented girls at Crafts & Me......
Bye bye for now peeps, take care
huggles

Here's some I made earlier....

Good Afternoon *waves madly* and how are we getting on with the Xmas card making? I'm popping over to show some creations I've made recently using gorgeous stamps available at Crafts & Me which you may not have seen yet :) I've won blog awards for several of them and the feedback has been immensely positive but then they're absolutely gorgeous to work with so thats half the battle!

First up my Wintergreen Wishes in Pink, I saw a challenge for Pink Christmas and I just had to enter it, who can't resist a bit of pink! This one won Top 3 and Top 5 awards and a Top prize and she's so easy to colour and looks nice in any combo you choose! She's coloured with Promarkers and highlghts with sakura stardust pens. I sprayed the flowers with cosmic shimmer (Angel Mist) to match. She has long flowing locks and a big face area and really is simple to colour so if you're looking for something thats quick look no further.
Here she is again in traditonal Xmas colours for a totally different look :)

Next up is one of the new Kraftin' Kimmie stamps - Cinderella. I just loooove her dress and can lose myself colouring her, beautiful and suitable for many occassions (Xmas, Birthday, Prom etc) Again another one that's easy to colour though I do like to spend my time on her and again colour is no object, anything you like :)

This pretty lady is Krista by Hannah Lynn and again another one that screams COLOUR ME! Oh I do love this stamp and like playing around with different colours in her hair :) Here's a blue and a pink version with a pink and yellow version is on the shop.

More of a nautical one here and this is Kathleen again by Hannah Lynn (Can you tell I'm rather fond of Hannah's designs!) A bit tricker to colour so if you find your promarker nibs a bit fat for some of the more wispy bits I switch to a sakura pen for that.

A couple by the designer Molly Harrison, this first one The Gift is proving quite popular as I've seen her a few times round blogger and again if you're looking for quick and easy simply stamp, colour your hair and skin tones and I just added cool aqua promarkers around the edges and used the blender pen to smudge them out then I've used a glue pen and glamour dust aka ultra fine crystal glitter for sparkle on the wings.

This is another by Molly Harrison called Hiding. She's also quite easy if you left the background plain as she looks good in any colours. For the background here I used promarkers and the blender pen to tone out from light blues to black then smeared stickles over it for the stars.

Ths one is another by Kraftin' Kimmie called Cordelia. Again she's coloured with promarkers and sakura stardust pens and for the tail I coloured it in completely with a glue pen then added blue ultra fine glitter. She also comes with the fish stamp too!

One of my favourites now by Hannah Lynn called The Butterfly Keeper. I broke away from my usual blues and dark tones as the pink and orange paper was calling me! I do love how she turned out, she's a very pretty girl and a dream to colour!

And last but not least this is the gorgeous Adrianna coloured with promarkers and sakura stardust pens. There is a tutorial HERE in the shop on how I did the background and tail.

I love this close up showing all the sparkle! The earrings are made wth tiny 4mm daisy spacer beads and a sticky pearl.

I hope I've given you some inspiration and ideas on various ways to use these fabulous stamps! If you have any questions feel free to ask :)
