Lady of the Stars shines with Moon Glow

Hi Everyone

My turn to showcase a gorgeous Digi stamp from Crafts and Me.  This week I have Lady of the Stars to share with you, she is of course designed by Sara Burrier.

I have coloured her with my Copic's and then I've added some stickles to her wings to make them all sparkly.  I put some Liquid pearl dots on the string of stars and I have stamped a little butterfly stamp with versamark ink and then dusted over with some Perfect Pearls powder.  It looks so shimmery and sparkly in real life, so sorry I couldn't capture it in my photo.  Anyway here she is I hope you love her as much as me:-)

My next card I want to show you, is my Challenge card from last week, Spring has Sprung.  I've used Moon Glow, which is designed by Hannah Lynn.  I've also used a piece of the scrummy Digi Papers that Teresa now has in store HERE...  I've used Page 10 from the Forest Fairy pad. I've coloured the image with my Copic's and put some Stickles on her wings. I've also added some flowers, lace and ribbons.  A cute little Bird Cage Charm and a tag from K&Company.  The Gorgeous Doily is by Kaiser Craft:-) So Here she is, I hope you love this one just as much as me:-)

We all look forward to seeing your creations this week, so please check out the new challenge which has started here!!!

Till next time

3 to share

Afternoon all!  I've got 3 to share with you today using stamps by Crafts & Me.  First up is one of the brand new digis by Sara Burrier - this is LADY OF THE STARS which is coloured mainly in flexmarkers and a little bit of promarkers.  I added glamour dust with a glue pen along the string and also used the glue pen to attach tiny stars.  I made this one quite simple as I wanted the full size image so printed her out at 6" tall and have attached with black, blue and silver holographic card.

Next up is MOONGLOW which I've done in a pink theme using promarkers and the white bits are all glamour dust (ultra fine crystal glitter)  She's by Hannah Lynn and is one of my favs :)

And lastly this is a rubber stamp by Hannah Lynn called BIRTHDAY GIRL.  I love all her frills and she was really fun to colour.

Well peeps I hope you're all managing to keep warm, get those fluffy socks on and nuggle down under the duvet which is where I'm heading now! x

A Fairy on a Mushy!!!

Howdy!!! Today I have another Crafts and Me Digi image to share.  I coloured this one up the other day in like a rusty red colour... it was NOT nice, so anyway I chucked that one and started again, this time with RED Copic markers, YAY finally have an R22 in the house... I have been missing this one, since my other one ran out, and well as you might be aware, the refills are no-where to be had... grrrrrrr so a new marker was needed.

Anyway I coloured the mushy using R22, R24, R27, and R29.  I tried to make it so that the white dots were lighter around the edges, almost like they were glowing, and the middle parts of the mushy a big darker... but anyway it's looks OK, but I think I need to try again at some stage:-)

Oh I forgot to tell you about the image - it's called GPepper Tree and it's created by Sara Burrier.  I just love how cheeky she looks eating her bits of mushy with her little pink tongue poking out!!!  So here she is, I hope you love her as much as me!!!!

I did some dotty grass around the base of the mushroom and the little ones, because I can't do wispy looking grass!!! and I used Once Upon a Spring Time Papers by Graphic 45, so perfect for fairy's, oh and the paper does have little post marks on it, so I carried that forward using the postmark stamp a bit around the image.  My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, there is a heap of Stickles which you can get HERE, and of course a few half pearls available HERE.......

I also wanted to mention that Teresa has been fiddling with the postage rates and is now offering an awesome price for Europe and International Customers... check out the details by clicking on postage rates!!

Don't forget about the Crafts and Me Challenges which are up and running HERE, This is my card that I created for the Simples Theme (don't use many embellishments) using super awesome Moon Glow by Hannah Lynn. I absolutely love this one's hair, and I'm rather pleased with how she turned out *I'm giving myself a pat on the back* anyway her she is, I hope you love her too:

So go on get creating, we are super keen to see your creations, so add them into the challenge blog - who knows you just might win!!!

Till next time

A few makes

Afternoon all!  Got a few to show you today, been having a right old play!  This first one is by our newest artist Janna Prosvirina and is called Belladona, she is so easy to colour, just follow the flow of the dress and she is also a larger stamp so no fiddly details to worry about.  I coloured with promarkers and ultra fine nibs and flexmarkers adding distress ink around the edge.

I used the ultra fine nibs around the berries and on the leaves to make them pop!

This pretty lady is also by Janna and is called Clematis and she is coloured with the ultra fine nibs

This one is a digi by Sara Burrier and is called Lady of Opal.  I put a digital frame around and cut out letting the hair flow outside the edge.  I kept it quite simple by embossing the white card with my scoring blade and adding faux stitching with a white gel pen.  I added crystal glitter to the wings with some glossy accents.  She is again coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers with the ultra fine nibs

And finally this beauty is one of the newest digis called Moonglow by Hannah Lynn.  Really enjoyed this one as she's got lovely lines and such a pretty face.  I used distress ink and distress stains around the edge.

Well I hope you've enjoyed my offerings, have to go pick little uns up from school now so have a nice afternoon x
