Fairy Cakes

Hi there Everyone

Today I have a new artist to tell you all about, she of course is designing for Crafts and Me and there has been a new release this month with about 5 images I think... Anyway they are GORGE!!

For my card this fortnight, I have used: Fairy Cake Gardener and she is designed by Sue Rundle-Hughes, Crafts and Me, new and brilliant artist!!!

So here is my card, its only a wee one...

Now my card is slightly different than the Digi image available.... I've missed off and chopped off the cute butterfly which is to the left of the image... Why??? Because I totally buggered it up, and it was horrid and ugly and so not how it was meant to turn out LOL.... so I improvised a bit.... sorry - but the actual image that Sue has designed is gorgeous!! I know you girls and guys... will love it!!

So there you go, just a simple little card for a sweet little someone!!

Also don't forget about the brand new challenge just started over at the Challenge Blog!!

Enjoy your crafting

Fairies Share Love and Fun and . . .

Hi there! This is Rose sharing two cards that I've made using some of the fantastic digital images available ONLY at Crafts and Me Stamps.

Crafts and Me Stamps carries a fabulous selection of amazing digital silhouette fairy stamps. They're beautiful images that can easily provide a wonderful card or project that's perfect for gift giving! What a fantastic way to share stamped sentiments or handwritten notes with magically enchanted cards.  Silhouette images are becoming more popular for their ease of use.

I've used For You Fairy to whip up a simple yet lovely Valentine's card that would be perfect for sharing a bit of love with a friend, family member, special neighbor or anyone that you care about.  You can get your own digital For You Fairy here.

You'll note that all of the digital silhouette images are made to print in black ink.  In eight simple steps, I changed my digital image to print in red.  You can find the steps I used at the end of the post found here.

You may have seen this card at the recent Dynamite Digi team's "Favorite Color Combo" challenge.  For this challenge I've used a newly released Fairy Cake Gardener image by Sue Rundel-Hughes on a side-open birthday card.  You can find this lovely digital image here.

In My Window and Butterfly Sunset

Hello and good morning everyone, Karina here to show you my newest creations. Both of them are made with the newest images from Jasmine Becket-Griffith.The first one is made with 'In my Window'. I was in the mood for a monochrome colouring and chose grey tones. I wanted to combine with pink and purple colours to give it an elegant touch.

Below you can see a close up of the image. I coloured it with Copics.

The second card I show you is the one I made for our last challenge at Crafts and Me Challenges where we wanted to see 'Your fave Embellishments'. I have many favourite ones; flowers, charms, lace, ribbon, die cuttings, gems and pearls, just to name a few. They are all included in my project I made with 'Butterfly Sunset'. You can see I am more into darker colours lately :o).

I want to show you a close up as well of this gorgeous image. I coloured it with Copics as well.

We just started a new challenge today with the theme 'Your Fave Colour Combo'. We would love to see you joining us.

Thank you very much for your visit here. Always so much apprechiated.
Have a magical day now!
Hugs, Karina
