Spring Luna for a summery week end

Isn't the weather just gorgeous I am off to a village fare today and I can't wait I hope you all have good plans and that the weather holds for you.
My card this time round I have gone back to the Sweet pea stamps I still just can't resist them. After much thought I went for this beauty ching-chou kuik's Spring Luna (you can get her HERE). I have coloured her with my normal combo of pro markers and sakura stardust pens. The backing papers are digi ones and the sentiment is also from a sweeet pea set.

Anyone for Lemonade
Morning Peeps and a Happy Friday to you all, and if your in the UK it's going to be a glorious 24 degress, woo hoo!
Well, I don't know about you but I am completely whacked! I have had this week off work to do some decorating and I am shattered. I have satinwood painted 7 doors, yes 7, the skirting boards and banister and my little arms are aching from holding the paint pot! There has been no access to my craft room, why is it that everyone see's my craft room as the dumping ground. Good job I was organised with my card for this week prior to the bomb hitting.
My hands are like prunes from washing the paint off. For some reason at the end of Day 1 I thought it would be a good idea to squeeze my little roller out in the sink, ummmmmm, it was like I was wearing white gloves up to my elbows and ummmmmm satinwood paint, whoops, this doesn't come off with a bit of fairy, oh no, so I went to turn the tap off, whoops, tap now covered. This went on for a while until I found the turps. Anyway for some strange reason I had forgotton all about this last night, on Day 2, and I did it all over again, lol. It's a good job my painting is better than my clearing up. Anyway enough of boring you, here's my card for today. She is from Belles and Whistles and is called "Anyone for Lemonade", available from Teresa at Crafts and Me. I love these stamps.
The Design papers are Basic Grey, distressed with my making memories tool and inked with Walnut Stain distress ink. I then added star dust stickles. The image is coloured using my gorgeous copic markers, just love these. I made the flowers using several different punches and again added walnut stain distress ink and stickles and a little button to two of the centres. The leaves are cut with Quickutz and again distressed and stickled. I have added little flat back pearls from my stash which I have coloured using my copic pen.
Have a good weeken everyone.

Koi
Last night I was thinking I need to do my DT card for this week for Crafts and Me and had a rummage through my stamps. As I was a bit pushed for time I thought I'd go for one of the easier designs and for some reason my mind wandered off track and I picked up Koi which is one of the newer stamps in the range and one of the more challenging! I do like a challenge though lol! I think if I chose a wider range of colours it would be easier but I was sticking to an orange/yellow theme so had to think a bit to get a good contrast!
I've coloured her with promarkers and accented with sakura stardust pens. I used the blender pen quite a lot with this one to get the effects on her tail and clothes. The actual Koi and her tail I've painted with glossy accents and added glamour dust on the tail.
The ribbon I've coloured using a matching promarker (amber) and the background is starburst stains bachelor button blue which I've used a puddling technique so it looks like water.
Right-o I'm off on my first bike ride of the year, wish me luck lol! The kids love it so we're going down the trans pennine to grab some tea!

"KOI" can be purchased via Crafts & Me in the UK. Thanks for looking!

Loving Lilac Lemon :D

Well I can not believe how quick this year has gone so far here we are on another bank holiday weekend and I hope you are all enjoying it and that the good weather holds where you are. I have made a card for today with the brand new line of stamps in stock now at Crafts and me from Lilac lemon designs. This one is called art deco bride/flapper and I think she just looks so elegant I love the Deco feel and these designs are just perfect. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust and metallic pens the chalked round her and torn around her to give a distressed effect. I hope you like her and don't forget there is still time to join our challenge at Crafts and Me challenges where we want to see your distressing skills in action.
