3 More Christmas Cards

Hello everyone Vicky here today, how was your weekend? Can you believe how close we are to Christmas, I have the total of 5 presents....altho I have got my youngest son one of the new Nintendo WiiU's that are due out the end of this month...........he has no idea as all he has asked for is more Xbox games. I so love surprising the kiddies ;0)

Anyway I'm running a tad late today & I have 3 cards to show you. A rubber new release, a digi from this months release & of course my challenge card.
So first up I will show you a new Rubber stamp that has been released, I think this could be my fave!!!
I have used 'Santa's Little Helper' by Robin Pushay...........I absolutely lurve this stamp!!!!

She was of course coloured with copics & prisma pencil in parts. I also added lashings of sparkles & pearl dots. Isn't she the sweetest little thing.
I have tried keep my foofiness minimal to let the image shine out :0)

Now this next one I wanted to see if I could make this image look like a christmas image, pop on over here to see the artists image.

This is one of this months digi images 'Wynndy' by Hannah Lynn & she is again coloured with copic.
I was actually really pleased with how this card & image turned out, you would think by looking at this she was meant for christmas.............I love images that you make to suit many occasions.
Lastly this is the card I did for the current Crafts & Me Challenge. It is 'First Snow' by Zindy Nielsen that was released last winter & still I love this stamp.
I went for shades of golds on this card & I think thwe gold colours suit her. Again coloured with copics, I love the colours in copics to make a goldy colour. I also added white flower soft to her hood to make it look more realistic.

Both of these rubber stamps & the digi images are available exclusive to Crafts & Me, pop on over to see the other totally gorgeous goodies Teresa has in. I'm sure Santie will bring you new goodies this year if you have been good ;0)

There is still time for you to join the current challenge which this week is 'CIRCLES' how easy peasy is that one........so grab your creations & come join in the fun!!

Thank you as always for stopping by, mmwah.
HUge huggles to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Here you can see a close up of the image...

New Releases in Rubber

Good morning peeps, hope you have all had a lovely weekend. We spent the weekend as always with the family & we also got a new kitten, a Maine Coon who is just sooooooo darn cute ;0)
Anyway its me (Vicky) to show you one of the new release rubber stamps coming soon to
Crafts &  Me. This is one I did for the show Teresa recently did.
This is 'Portrait Of Ophelia' by Jasmine Becket-Griffith & I coloured her with copics. I coloured it with the light shining down from her right.

I had been ill & forgot all about doing this, so this was a rush & only took me an hour & half to do the image & colouring......thats half the time it would normally take me, so I'm not that happy with this at all........but didnt have time to do another one :0(
This is the card I made for the current challenge & let me tell you this was a rush as well. It took me 15 minutes to colour the image & 45 mins to do the card.............this time however I was much happier about the outcome lol.

Even still got time to do the inside as always :0)
This is of course one of the new digi images by Hannah Lynn 'Monica' & I mirrored her to face the opposite way. She is of course coloured with copics.
Hannah Lynn digi images are soooooooo easy to colour dont be put off thinking they are hard. These are the only images I could ever think of colouring up that fast lol, normally an image can take me an hour, more if its got a lot of hair & lots of pleats.

There is still time to enter the current challenges which you need 'Reds' on your creation & with christmas coming fast around the corner it wont be hard lol.
Thank you as always from all the DT for your continued support here.

Tatty bye
lotsa hugs Vicky xxxx

Hi everyone!

It`s my (Mona) turn today to show you some samples i`ve created.

My first card is a kind of wintage looking card. The image i have used is called Catching snowflakes and it is a rubberstamp designed by Zindy S.D. Nielsen. It is available here.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, available here.
I have also used Stickles Frosted lace on the fur of her cape, available here. I think this one is nice course when it dries up it looks a bit like fur.

My next card is the one i created for the previous digi challenge and here i have used one of the newest flapper digis called Art deco Melody. She is available here. I have also used the Macarena die corner from Memory box, you can find it here.

Well that`s it from me today. Don`t forget to hop on over to the challenge blog and join the new challenge hosted by the rubbah team. The theme is "Reds". Such a nice theme with the Christmas ahead. A great excuse to make something Christmassy, lol. Good luck everyone!

Translucence by Sara Burrier

Hi there Everyone!!

As you may be aware Crafts and Me just released a whole bunch of new Images... like they do on every 1st of the month - but I must say that I actually really really love these ones just that little bit MORE this month!!

My first one to show you is called Translucence and she is designed by Sara Burrier.  I just love this image so much, so magical and floaty and the birds added in just seem to add more and more to this stunner.

Anyway I have tried to colour her in softer colours, using the E01 and E02 as my pale pink, I tried also to get some white happening but I think I was a little heavy handed with my C's in a couple of places LOL... Anyway here is my Translucence hope you love her as much as me:-)

I've also added a chippy butterfly to my card which I painted with some Crackle Paint, and I also sprayed my whole image with some Glimmer Mist.  There is a bunch of Glimmer Mists available in the store right now.

Don't forget that there is a brand new challenge just started over here, make sure you add your entries you just might be this week's winner!!!

Till next time
