Deevonne

Evening all!  Having my own little private party here, headphones on full blast which is a rarity and listening to some old skool tracks on you tube, I've decided I've turned into my mother by saying they dont make em like they used to haha!  Remember The Source with Candi Staton You've got the love, Deee-lite Groove is in the heart and Evelyn Thomas Hi Energy, that kinda stuff :D  Nothing like the aggressive nonsense in the charts nowadays

I've got a couple to share tonight!  First up is Deevonne, sorry but blogger is refusing point blank to display the 2nd pic the right way grrr!  I've teamed the image up with the Crafts & Me monotone papers.  The card base and band across the centre is actually a beautiful shimmery deep blue and looks lovely behind the die cut in the centre.  She's coloured in promarkers :)  Dont you just love Hannah's digis and the hair as you can go really wild with the colours if you wish and nothing looks wrong :)

Next up is the beautiful Lady of Opal coloured in monotone with just a hint of pink, very faint but its there.  Again I've used the monotone papers adding a simple band of black and white card punched with a martha punch across the centre.

Thanks for popping by and dont forget our Facebook Group to pop in and say hello and share your work :)

The second card I am sharing with you today uses the amazing new Tree of Secrets image by Hannah Lynn. This is such a gorgeous image...and so much fun to colour! I love how these images can be adapted to any style of card which you can see from the fabulous DT inspiration :)

We have a fun new challenge for you over at the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog this week. The theme is Embossing. I can't wait to see all of your beautiful creations :) You can see more details over at my blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pearl princess

Hey peeps!

I`m  bit late today. Things allways seem to happen when i least expect it, so that is why i`m late.

For my card today i have used the gorgeous Pearl Princess by Hannah Lynn. She is available here. This is one of the more simple cards i have created. I don`t know if you can see it, but the backing paper is just soooo sparkly that i didn`t want to cover it up so much. I think the colour fit so well with this mermaid image and the glittery paper is supposed to look like the sparkly ocean. Ok maby my imagination is going overboard here, lol.

I also want to show you the card i made for the last digi challenge. The theme was vintage and is one of my fav styles. The image i have used is called Child of healing and is designed by Sara Burrier. Available here. I was a bit scared to colour her up course Mina earlier had done such a perfect colouring of this image, that i had no hope in getting my image up to the same level, lol. But i swallowed my fear and went ahead colouring her.

I don`t know what you think but i am just a bit happy about how it turned out, lol. So sometimes i get lucky, hahaha.

Well, anyway...don`t forget to come and join us over at the challenge blog. The Rubbah team has a new challenge up and running. The theme is Embossing. Sounds like something you want to join in on? Well...then you know the drill, lol.

Love Letter

Yayyy it's Friday Peeps,

Today's card is showing off those gorgeous locks from the new artist at Crafts and Me, Dollie James and I have used Love Letter. I have colourerd her on Kraft, which was given to me by my lovely friend Jane.

Quite a simple card from me, yep I know, unusual. I've had the paper in my stash for a couple of years, sorry I don't know who they are by. The flourish is a Memory Box Die Scroll.

The photos aren't brilliant, sorry.

Have a good weekend everyone, I'm hoping for some sun......I'm fed up of the rain.

Child of Healing

Hi everyone. I don't have a card using a rubber stamp to show you but I do have one using a digi image. I used this gorgeous image by Sara Burrier called "Child of Healing". I have not been in my craft area until today but I did have a ton of digi's printed out and for the past week I have just laid around on the couch with all my printed images and my copics and coloring up a storm. This is the first card I have made in a week.

I used a Memory Box die called "Vivienne Butterfly" and you can get it HERE at the Crafts and Me Stamps Store. The bow was is created with some netting and I added the butterfly die on top the bow. I added some big roses. I distressed the edges of the papers with a Distressing tool and the added some Distressing inks.

Here is my creation for our last Rubber Girls Challenge. I used a image called "Sweetest Gift Ever" by our newest artist Dollie James.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs:)

Hug Me

Hi everyone, Karina here today. I am a bit late with my today's post and am sorry about this. I have bad back aches since yesterday which didn't allow me to craft as I wish. I need some breaks with lying down each thirty minutes of doing anything... really annoying. Hopefully it will be better within the next few days as I planned to travel to a stamping fair in Germany the next weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.

Well, the card I show you today is made with one of the newest artist images. It is from Dollie James and the image is called 'Hug Me'

It was a big pleasure to colour her. I did it with Copics. If you love to colour big hair, those images are perfect for you!

The second card I show you today is the one I made for our last challenge where we had the theme 3D. I used one of the newest images by Hannah Lynn called 'Sharlotta'. Isn't she such a beautiful mermaid? I love her!!

I coloured her with Copics as well. And I added some transparent crackle paint to her tail to give it a flaked look.

Well, have a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina
