Beautiful Creations made by Angela!!!

It's a lovely sunny day here the sun is shining makes you feel so much better doesn't it! and with Easter fast approaching I just had to show you Angela's amazing creations, she is a brilliant artist with lots of fascinating ideas. Why not pop over to Angela's blog and have a look around at her lovely work. The stamp Angela has used Honey Bunny by Instyle stamps is available here in my store.
Angela explains in her own words how she made these stunning pieces:

I created a wall or a door hanger. I was looking through my things to alter when I remember that I had these plain pieces of thin wood that I purchased at Joann a while back in the wood craft department. And I was so happy when I brought one back to my craft area and it was the perfect size!! Love it when that happens. I sanded it then painted it with some Acrylic paint in offwhite/cream. Then I pulled out some Basic Grey paper from the Blush Collection and aged the edges with some Distressing Ink in Tea Rose and Vintage photo. I glued it to the wood with some Modge Podge. I used a spellbinders die and aged the label and added some blue chalk to the center then outward for the background for little Honey Bunny to be adhered to. I popped the labels die and my Honey Bunny image up with foam tape, after I colored her with my copics and cut her out. I added some prima roses, bling swirls, and a chipboard butterfly(Making Memories). After all that was done I punched 2 hole in the top and added some organdy ribbon and tied a bow on the top so it could be used to hang up.

I also created a little square gift box, that I painted with the same paint color. Then I added the same DP and Spellbinder die( repeating the same techinques and embellishments).

Here is a view of the box closed to show more detail.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my Easter creations
Copics Used:
Skin: E0000,E00,E50,E21,R20,R11,R00
Hair: E57,E35, E21
Fur: E40,E41 and 0 Colourless blender
R20,R11,R00
Bow- RV19,RV17,RV09,RV04

A big thankyou to Angela for letting me share her work with all my followers, if you would like to leave Angela a comment I am sure she would love to hear from you

Another serene night

Good morning everyone I hope your weekend has started well I can not believe a week has past since I was last on here.
For my card today I have used this stamp, ching-chou kuik's The Serene Night from where else but Crafts and me and isn't she beautiful! I have coloured her with my usual mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens for that extra sparkle :D If you have not already seen there is a new challenge blog starting on the 31st of March with loads of great prises for the first competition and there is even a prize for just being a follower so make sure when you leave here you go to this link Crafts and Me challenges to find out all the details and be in for a chance of winning.
As well as the stamp I have also used other stash I got from
Crafts and me. The flowers are from the petaloo range and can be found HERE and yes I could not resist using it again my much loved Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
The papers are from papermania's capsule collection and the ribbons are also from papermania.

Blue Eye Fairy

Evening Peeps,

Well thank goodness it's Friday. I am a little late with this posting and for that I apologise. I haven't been well this week and only got to finish this card last night, but the lighting was so bad that I couldn't get a decent picture. So I have had to take it to work with me today to get a picture and even then I cannot say that I am that pleased with it and certainly doesn't do this card justice. Time pemitting I may try again tomorrow, lol. I'm such a perfectionist.

Well I hope you have all had a good week and are really looking forward to the launch of the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog, Woo Hoo, not long now. Better get a move on with my DT card and the other 4 I have to get done this weekend, eeeeek!

Right here we go:-

I have painted this image using distress inks, tattered rose, worn lipstick, spiced marmalade, vintage photo, walnut stain, shabby shutters. The design papers are Bo Bunny. I have used a Fiskars  border punch, for a change, and embellished with flowers from wild orchid crafts.  The branch is a Martha Stewart punch and I have added lots of star dust stickles, again nor borne out well in the photo.

Well I hope you like it.

September Rhythm

I'm making my debut tonight so be gentle with me lol! Teresa asked me over the weekend if I'd like to join their Design Team and I'm very flattered so here I am!

I've chosen September Rhythm which was the first one that caught my eye when I saw it on a blog and led me to checking out the sweet pea site who pointed me to the Crafts and Me site where I could get hold of them!

I've coloured her with promarkers and used sakura stardust pens as sparkly highlights. You can use a clear sakura stardust pen to draw in highlights and if you dont want to see solid lines and a more subtle glitter then simply colour some on an area like the tail fin and quickly spread it with your finger, this gives a nice subtle coverage of glitter which suits these stamps well.
The background is painted with twinkling H2o's using a more concentrated mix around the design and a more watery one for the outside so you only use one colour. Flowers are prima wildflowers with others from stash.

Have to tell you that when I was doing the clear sparkly highlights with the sakura stardust I couldnt get the glitter to come out so I did my usual banging of the pen, shaking it wildly in the air and sucking it to no avail, the clear ink was coming through but not the glitter until I realised I was actually using the sakura GLAZE pen in clear *doh*

ching-chou kuik's Dark Sirene

Hello :D I hope you are all having a great weekend. This is my first time posting here and I wanted to show you this card I have made using ching-chou kuik's Dark Sirene which you can get from Crafts and me. I have coloured her with a mixture of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so that she sparkles. I have then used this brilliant Martha Stewart punch called "pop-up butterflies" again from Crafts and me to go down both sides of the card just at the front as I think it makes the edges much more interesting and gives them a bit of texture. I have used the gold textured card stock just to edges the image and the papers and put a strip on the inside of the card to highlight the edging punch. The peel off border and gems are from my stash.
Don't forget if you haven't already signed up as a follower over at Crafts and Me Challenges make sure you do to be in with the chance of winning a great prise and so that you can be one of the first to see our first ever challenge when we go live on the 31st of March.

Thanks for looking

Dance of Butterfly

Morning Peeps,

Wow, I'm posting on the Crafts and Me Blogspot. Well what can I tell you, its been a hectic week and I am shattered, but I guess you don't really want to hear that, do you? My DT card is of course one of the Sweet Pea Stamps, Dance of  Butterfly, available right HERE from Teresa.  The sentiment is also from the same sheet no. 6, Fantasy Art Collection.  As you know Teresa has the exclusive UK rights to sell these so you can only get them from CRAFTS AND ME. They are a dream to colour and the more I see the more I want, so be warned they are addictive.

I have used copic markers to colour her in and layered onto bazill cardstock.  The DP is from Kay & Co. The flower is prima and the leaves are cut out on Quickutz and inked with distress inks. I used the sizzlets die for the filagree corners and pearls and lace are from my stash.  And lastly but not least, the little key.  Well I love the little key.  This is the air dry clay which you pop into a mould and leave.  That's it, pop it out, paint it, ink it, whatever you like.  And guess what?  They are available from Crafts and Me, yay!

Don't forget we have the brand new launch of the Crafts and Me Challenge site launching on the 31st March and were looking forward to hopping onto all your blogs to see your beautiful creations.

Thanks for popping by and I would love to read your comments.
