Night Blossom

Good morning peeps, hope everyone is fine out there and enjoy the advent season. I had a busy week although I had some days off. I went to a fair for three days over the weekend to sell my cards. So this needed quite some preparations. But from now on I will take it relaxed. I don't have that much Christmas preparations to do which is really fine.

Today I have to show you just one card. It is one of my own favourite cards I ever made. I really like everything on it which happens not that often :o). It is the card I made for our last challenge with the theme Shabby Chic and Vintage. I love this theme and it was me who has chosen it this time. And I am really satisfied when I saw how many of you joined us. Thank you so much for your participation!

I made this card with one of the newest images by the fabulous artist Janna Prosvirina. She is called Night Blossom. Isn't she a true beauty? I love her so much, as each and every other image by this artist as well. I coloured her with Distress Inks. The papers are by Pion Design.

Today we start with a new challenge. So just take a look and join us. We always love to see what you create.

Have a wonderful week and a peaceful advent time.
Hugs, Karina

Happy Sunday...

LinkGood morning everyone its my turn today (Mina) to show you some of the grogeous new digis from Crafts and Me today...I hope your all haveing a fantastic weekend and are not suffering from this terrible gale and cold we are getting...both my cards are using amazing image from Sara Burrier and the first card is using this amazing The Blessing...I printed her once on acetate and once on watercolour card, I mounted some glitterboard behind the acetate and coloured my image on the watercolour card with distress inks, cut her out and stuck her over the acetate image to give her a 3d effect (well hopefully anyway well thats what I was aiming for lol)
my second card is using one of the brand new December release digis and this beauty is called Casting Dowm Imagination, I coloured her again with distress inks and glittered her wings...although this image could be used for any occassion (wouldnt she be perfect for Valentine with all those hearts) I used her for a Christmas card and think she works great for christmas cards...all the information on these and many more cards and projects are on my blog as always...enjoy the rest of your day and keep warm

"Autumn" by Sara Burrier

Hi sweet peeps!

Mona here. I was going to show you one of the new releases that are due on dec 1st but my printer is out of ink, so i had to use one of the ones i allready had printed out. I have used one of the previous releases by Sara Burrier called Autumn. Available here. But since we are in the middle of the Christmas preparations i have made a Christmas-card. So i coloured this gorgeous image in Christmas-colours instead.

The chipboard snowflake is a Dusty Attic chippie which i`ve painted with gesso and blinged up a bit with Stickles Icicles, available here.

Well that`s all from me this time. Hope you`ll have a great weekend. Don`t forget to come and play with us at the challenge blog. There is still time. Happy crafting!

A Fairy on a Mushy!!!

Howdy!!! Today I have another Crafts and Me Digi image to share.  I coloured this one up the other day in like a rusty red colour... it was NOT nice, so anyway I chucked that one and started again, this time with RED Copic markers, YAY finally have an R22 in the house... I have been missing this one, since my other one ran out, and well as you might be aware, the refills are no-where to be had... grrrrrrr so a new marker was needed.

Anyway I coloured the mushy using R22, R24, R27, and R29.  I tried to make it so that the white dots were lighter around the edges, almost like they were glowing, and the middle parts of the mushy a big darker... but anyway it's looks OK, but I think I need to try again at some stage:-)

Oh I forgot to tell you about the image - it's called GPepper Tree and it's created by Sara Burrier.  I just love how cheeky she looks eating her bits of mushy with her little pink tongue poking out!!!  So here she is, I hope you love her as much as me!!!!

I did some dotty grass around the base of the mushroom and the little ones, because I can't do wispy looking grass!!! and I used Once Upon a Spring Time Papers by Graphic 45, so perfect for fairy's, oh and the paper does have little post marks on it, so I carried that forward using the postmark stamp a bit around the image.  My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, there is a heap of Stickles which you can get HERE, and of course a few half pearls available HERE.......

I also wanted to mention that Teresa has been fiddling with the postage rates and is now offering an awesome price for Europe and International Customers... check out the details by clicking on postage rates!!

Don't forget about the Crafts and Me Challenges which are up and running HERE, This is my card that I created for the Simples Theme (don't use many embellishments) using super awesome Moon Glow by Hannah Lynn. I absolutely love this one's hair, and I'm rather pleased with how she turned out *I'm giving myself a pat on the back* anyway her she is, I hope you love her too:

So go on get creating, we are super keen to see your creations, so add them into the challenge blog - who knows you just might win!!!

Till next time

A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That . . .

Hi there! This is Rose sharing several Copic-filled images that I’ve been having a lot of fun with.  There is no real theme to the cards I've included here.  I've dabbled all over the place.  It's good to change things up a bit sometimes and I feel like I've been stuck on Christmas red since late August - LOL!!!

This photo shows a rubberstamped image that Elisabeth Bell designed for Sweet Pea Stamps.  Teresa carries alot of the Sweet Pea Stamps line and you can find this sweet Little Curls image here.  Isn't this little lady just adorable?

Speaking of adorable, take a look at this Mercreature rubberstamped image by Lisa Victoria!  You can find this fabulous Sweet Pea Stamps image here.  The snow globe that this mercreature is holding is left blank and you can fill it with whatever your heart desires.  How cool is that?!?!

Talk about cool . . . You'll need to step away for some cool air after dancing a night away like this elegant Art Deco Couple.  Teresa carries a fabulous line of eclectic 1920's art deco rubberstamps that are appropriate for many occasions.  You can find this handsome couple, full of lavish plumes, here.

You may have seen this card at the current Crafts and Me Digi Team's "Simples" challenge. I've used Hannah Lynn's Kissy Fish image on this side open card.  You can find her here.  This beautiful image carries itself well without a lot of supporting accents.  Keep her in mind for your loving Valentine wishes too!

* * * * * * * * *

What's that I hear you say?  You want to see Christmas red.  LOL!!!  Well, alright then.  Here's a sneak peek at a soon-to-be-released digi image that Sara Burrier has designed named Poinsettia.  I've used this beautiful fairy to decorate this Christmas cracker box . . .

* * * * * * * * *

You can find more newly released digi images at the Crafts and Me store here.  Very soon you'll see stunning new Hannah Lynn miracles and the Sara Burrier Poinsettia and imagination images.  Keep your eye out for them!  And, if we're very lucky, the rest of the Digi Team might give us a sneak peek at more of them this week.

There's still time to add your entry to the current Digi team's "Simples" challenge here.  Crafts and Me Stamps is offering THREE digi stamps to a randomly selected entry.  What a great way to get your hands on some fabulous new digi images!!!  Visit the Crafts and Me challenge blog again on Wednesday for a new Rockin' Rubbah challenge.

Wishing you a fulfilling day!  We're so glad you stopped by to visit!

A clean and simple Saturday

Hi everyone :D
I hope you are all having a good weekend and you don't have a stinking cold like I do :(
I am sorry to say that I just have the one card for you today and I have kept it clean and simple to fit with the current Crafts and Me challenge. If you haven't taken part yet get over there now as there is a great prize up for grabs and your card should be nice and quick to do as the challenge is to keep your creation clean and simple.
For my card I have used the gorgeous stamp from Hannah Lynn called Winter green wishes available HERE from the brilliant Crafts and Me. In case you are looking at this from out side of the UK there is now even more reason to buy from Crafts and me as there is a new lower postage rate so go ahead and fill your basket :D
I have coloured this beauty with promarkers and then added some sparkle with stickles. I have then mounted her on foam pads and then on gold embossed card before putting on the card.

Glamour

Hiya Peeps,

I have used one of the gorgeous Art Deco Stamps from Crafts and Me called "Glamour" available HERE.   I got some gorogeous Graphic 45 paper from the recent Show at Alexandra palace which compliments this image well I think.

And here's my challenge card using the fabulous new artist Joanna Prosvirino called Black Rose.

Not a lot to share

Hi Everyone, I don't have a new card to share with you as I thought I had one more day till my post.  We have been busy with kids homework, Destiny's car wreck and we just found and bought her a new car.  We just need to put new brakes, wind sheild wipers, and a few small things before we let her drive it.  I will be driving it to work today to see how it drives on longer trips.
All I have to share with you is my Challenge card from last week, as my other cards are not finished yet.
I used Janna Provirina's rubber image called "Belladonna" , which is currently out of stock at Crafts and Me Stamps.

Well I have to run and hope to be back to normal next week.

Hugs:)

Janna Prosvirina

Hi everyone, Karina here today to show you some inspiration I made with the gorgeous images by our new artist Janna Prosvirina

The first one is 'Black Rose'. I wanted to look her like a forrest elve, sitting on some bushes and leafs. So I also kept her and her surrounding in brown and green tones. I stamped her with brown ink and coloured the image with Copics. The background paper is from Basic Grey's Scarlett Letter.

The second card I want to show you today is made for the last challenge over at Crafts and Me challenges, where we asked for 'Happy Birthday'. I used beautiful 'Clematis' for it. I coloured her with Distress Inks.

Today we started a new challenge with the theme 'Simples'. Really quite challenging if you use to make cards with lots of embellies. You should give it a try. We look forward to see what you make.

Have a magical day!
Hugs, Karina

Pretty Pendants and Sweet Selina

Good morning all you crafters out there, dont the days just fly by.
It,s my turn to show you a couple of cards using the Fabulous Crafts and Me rubber stamps.
My First is a sample card which is to go in the sample books that our lovely Tracy makes for Teresa to take to the Stamperama shows( I think the next ones in February)These have to be as flat as possible so the embellies are minimal.

I have used Heaven and Earths Pretty Pendants available Here I decided to give her some wings, I used a Marieanne Designs Decorative Elegance Die (Unfortunately these are out of stock at the moment but you can opt for an email from Teresa when they are available). To make the Wings i cut two pieces then cut off the curlyends which i didn,t need and used these around the sentiment so no waste, i hate throwing anything away lol!!

My Second card is my DT card for this weeks challenge from the Rockin Rubber Team which is Birthdays you still have untill tomorrow eve to join us.
For this one i used Hannah Lynns Sweet Selina available Here

For all you Europe/International Crafts and Me fans Teresa has now introduced a new LOWER postage rate
Check Here For Further details.

Enjoy your Day

Christmas with Hannah Lynn by the sea............

Hello how are you all? Hope you've all had a chillaxing weekend.  I REALLY need to get a crack on crimbo cards & I went into the hobbit & found this image. I coloured her & glittered her& the poinsettia's just before my break but then completely forgot about her........so here she is now finally on a card.
This is 'Christmas Eve Mermaid' by the fabulous Hannah Lynn exclusive to Crafts & Me Store, I coloured her the same colours as Hannah had for hers.

Instead of decorating the inside to match the front I have lined the back with another sheet of card so it feels as strong as the front.....the fronts always feel stronger cus they have so many layers on them. I've then added a sheet of thick paper & part-stamped the image & then added a sentiment.
I coloured her with Copics..........not sure of colours tho. The sky I actually forgot about til I had made my card & then last minute I stuck my finger into some 'Metallic Rub-On' & rubbed it in the background.

This is the card I did for our current challenge 'Birthdays' which you can enter here.

This is 'Orchid Of The Night' by Molly Harrison........this is my fave Molly stamp I just love it!!!

This image is a Sweet Pea stamp & its 'Love Is Gone' by Ching Chou-Kuik this is my fave Sweet Pea stamp. This image was requested for an Anniversary card for a man to his wife as she fell in love with this image when she saw me colouring it.

This is the card I made........she loved it so much she cried bless her!!! Wooden heart I painted with white paint then added a touch of crackle glazing.
All other details on my blog here.

There are new shipping charges over at the Crafts & Me Store which you can check out here.

Well thats it from little old me, thanks for popping by peeps huge hugs to you all
