What a cutie

I really like this stamp she is by the greetings farm and you can get her from where else but Crafts and me ( Teresa really does have all the best stamps ). This little lady reminds me a bit of me as when I was little I had a little yellow rabbit toy that my Gran gave me and I took everywhere with me and I have always had long hair lol.
I have coloured her with pro markers as normal.
So how is the guessing going do you know who the new artist is yet that you are getting the sneak peeks of. I will give you a clue it is not Ching-chou but trust me you will love her and if you like your fairies you will have heard of her.
Don't forget there is still time to take part in the current Crafts and Me challenge which is to make a birthday card and you have to be in it to win it :D

Anyways on to my card i don't often use these colours but when i do i quite like them and i've kept it simple....the image is Ching Chou Kuik's Fluttering-butterflies sheet 11 available from Crafts and Me i've used copic markers to colour, the papers are making memories Just Chillin, not sure about the floral one though, the butterflies and hydrangeas are Martha Stewart punches the tulle gems and flowers are from my stash.

I think that's it from me for today except to remind you about our challenge over at the Crafts and Me challenge blog and the theme is friends and family.

Wishing you a serene weekend

I hope you are all having a good weekend and that it is still sunny where you are it has got all grey and miserable here but the garden is glad of it :D
For my card this time I have used the beautiful ching-chou kuik's The Serene Night, I have coloured her with a mix of pro markers and sakura star dust pens so she sparkles. Then I have torn round the edges to give it some texture. I have stuck with the family and friends theme that we have for over at Crafts and Me challenges and if you have not taken part yet there is still time.
Make sure you keep checking back here as there are some very exciting things on their way and trust me you won't want to miss it.

Hugs to you all

Lady with Fan By Lilac Lemon Designs

Morning Crafters,

Were in for a lovely sunny weekend here in the UK and let's hope a win from the England Team, did I say that....... a little deviation from crafting there, sorry. Well today I have inked up my Lady with Fan Art Deco Stamp by Lilac Lemon Designs, available from Crafts and Me , just click HERE, and what a fabulous image this is, I really enjoyed creating this card and I know my elder sister will be delighted with it.

I have used the Martha Stewart Deco punch around the page punch to createthe main section of the Easel card. I then cut out a circle and used just the Martha Stewart edge punch to punch all around to create the deco edged matting circle and I have used the Martha Stewart Branch punch to create the leaves on the flowers.

I have used Glamour Dust Crystal Glitter to give her that extra sparkle and coloured the image with copic markers.

I just love this colour combination. The sentiment stamp is from Magnolia. I have coloured some flat back pearls using a black copic marker to match my project. I also used nesties for the matting.

The middle section is felt but I have had it such a long time I really don't know what it is called, but it is very striking and if anyone knows what it is called and where I could get some more I'd appreiciate knowing.

I really appreciate you popping by, as all the Design Team Members do, and we really look forward to reading your comments.

Have a fab weekend everyone!

An easel post it holder

Good evening! Hope you're all enjoying the gorgeous weather we're having! I've been in a right muddle this week with seeing my eldest DD off to Crete and dealing with my youngest DD who's 2 in a weeks time and her antics, you really DONT want to know!!

I've been literally drained this week with her and asked Teresa for the week off as I wasnt feeling too creative and been run off my ickle legs, of course she said yes being Teresa but today it was really nice out, the kids found some old toys I'd stashed so they were like 'new' to them and were having a ball so I managed to come up with this :D

Its an easel card combined with a post it note holder so it will last a long time for the recipient as the post it part is easily replaceable. I have used the image "It's my Birthday" by sweet pea stamps available at Crafts & Me (They also have some fab new stamp plates in this week and some very exciting news Photobucket so go have a looksie!)

Image is coloured with promarkers with glamour dust on the wings, sakura stardust pens and stickles on the flowers. Its had a spray or three of pearl glimmer mist and added lots of sticky gems - there I feel better after my mans card hehe!
The post it holder opens up and can be replaced when you've run out :)

Thanks for looking x

Sitting Summer Willow and Rose Swing By Whiff Of Joy

Yayyyyyyyyyyyy It's Friday,

Thanks goodness! I have had lists of things to get done all week and I haven't been to bed before midnight this week and up at 6:30 and I'm still behind with everything. Hopefully I will complete all my tasks this weekend!

Today's card is using the images Rose Swing and Sitting Summer Willow by Whiff of Joy which are available from Crafts and Me. Please make sure you read the note on the website, these are available, and if you need any help Teresa is more than helpful, so please don't be afraid to ask.

I have coloured her with copics, isn't she adorable and isn't that swing awesome! I edged all my papers with olive green and broken china distress inks.

I have added sakura clear jel pen to the flowers are the swing which makes them really sparkly, but just can't be seen very well in ther above picture.

Here's a peek of the inside of the card.

Have a fab weekend Everyone, and thanks for stopping by.

Are we ready for the world cup?

Not long now until world cup 2010 opens in South Africa! Now in case you didn't know or have dropped by my blog and scratched your head wondering why I am waving a South African flag my OH is South African, I'm an honorary one and have 2 "half saffers" We do encourage that side of their culture, we have Braai's (BBQ) drink rooibos (red bush tea) and sometimes when we find it have boerewors (sausage) although my local butcher says he'll make it when its a "hot summer" i.e NEVER!

My favourite colour was always lilac until I went to Cape Town and everything is blue! This is my DD on top of Table mountain above the lions head and Robben Island to the right where Nelson Mandela spent many years imprisonned. Everywher was blue blue blue and this was coming into WINTER! Seemed really bizarre seeing Winter Sales signs in June lol!

Onto this weeks card which you may remember seeing me colour a couple of weeks ago - Seeing Through available at Crafts and Me. I'm very pushed for time this week, got 2 poorly sick kids so have been run off my feet so I thought I'd use one of the images I coloured previously and mount on some lovely paper printed from Designer Extremes vol 3. I had this crazy idea to add this black velvet sticky swirly stuff which looks really bulky in the photo, its not but is a major pain to use it and I now remember why its been sat in my drawer for over a year ha! The card does look better than the photo but I might pull it apart again and reuse the image.

Its coloured with promarkers with glamour dust on the gloves, necklace and roses with fantasy film wings :)

Sharing my Allotment

Hello Peeps,
Another warm day great!
I have some exciting news to share with you all in a couple of weeks which I am sure you will love, so keep checking back to find out what is happening over at Crafts and me.
Today I thought I would share our allotment with you as I have been talking about it and I thought I would show you some pics of what I've been up too.
This is all new to us so it is trial and error.
Heres little o'l me standing by our runner bean posts and some potatos leaves in the pic.

Here is my hubby with cap on and his brother planning out the boxes, we have my brothers partner too so there's four of us doing this.

The boxes are nearly all made now just back braking digging to do.

And guess what I put my name down for another plot so the two families could hopefully be self sufficient for veg, wasn't expecting it to come up for months and oh no! it has come up early here it is right next door, and we have to start all over again. Wish us luck we need it but I do enjoy it and hopefully I'll get fit. I'm grateful for any tips. (not money)
Don't forget you still have time to enter our distressed challenge over at Crafts and me Challenges.

Luv Teresa x
