Merged Ladies with Backgrounds

Hi there! This is Rose sharing two cards that I've made using some of the wonderful digital images available at Crafts and Me Stamps.

You may have seen this card at the recent Dynamite Digi team's "Floral Frenzy!" challenge.  I've merged Lemon Shortbread's Butterfly Melody digital stamp with Hannah Lynn's Tulip Sunrise background digital image to share blooming wishes.

I liked that card so much that I merged Art Deco Geraldine digital stamp with Hannah Lynn's A Walk In Paris background digital image to send a special greeting.

Here's a list of the 8 simple steps that I used to complete my merge.  Why not give it a try?

Merging Digital Images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0
1. Select File tab; then Open .jpg version of image (resize image now if needed)
2. Open .jpg version of background image
3. Select Magic Wand tool from left icons
4. Click in white areas surrounding image until you see dotted lines outlining image; Shift + Click in additional white areas if needed.
5. Select "Select" tab; then Inverse
6. Ctrl-C to copy image
7. Click on background then select Edit tab; then Paste
8. Save merged image with new .jpg name

Tale of a Rose by Janna Prosvirina

Good Morning Everyone, Ann Marie here. I have a card to show you today which I made for the last Rubber Stamp challenge where the theme was "Peaches and Cream".  I love challenges that are a bit outside the box as they always help you discover something new in your own creativity or others.  The color palette here did just that for me as the "oranges" are often not the first colors I choose.. that won't be the case any longer!   For my card I used this beautiful new image "Tale of a Rose" by the artist Janna Prosvirina.

My image is colored with copic markers and lots of glitter.  I am experimenting also with Frantage which you see on many of the beautiful cards on our blog.  Here is a close up of this gorgeous image...
Thanks so much for stopping by. Why not hop over to the digi challenge going on right now...The theme this week is "Floral Frenzy"...Have a great day!

The Key

Hello and good morning everyone, Karina here. Only one card to show you today, the one I made for our last challenge where we wanted to see the colour combo Peaches & Creme. Quite challenging for me, too. For my card I used this beautiful new image 'The Key' by the artist Janna Prosvirina.

I coloured the image with Distress Inks and added some stickles to her wings and the leafs. I added some wet embossing around the image in white and sparkling orange.

Thank you so much for looking. Have a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina
