Good morning all.I hope you all manged to see a little of the sunshine( in the UK) and made the most of it.
So on to my card for today, my first is this one using the fabulous Spring to Life by Hannah Lynn available HERE at the Crafts and Me store.

I went with nice bright colours and i added lots of sparkle to really make her twinkle.

A close up, isn`t she beautiful.

My 2nd card is the one i made for the Digi girls current `Anything goes` Challenge which you still have a little time to enter, why not hop on over to the Crafts and Me challenge blog and take a peek.

I used the fabulous LARKSPUR by Sara Burrier, available soon.

I went with shades of lilac for this beautiful image and yes i did have to look up what a larkspur flower was and thats what made me colour in her lilac.lol.
I even did her hair lilac to match, she really is so lovely to colour in.

And a close up for you.

Thanks so much for looking and do pop over to the Crafts and Me store and check out all the fabulous goodies and new releases.

Love Life by Zindy S.D. Nielsen AND Some Exciting News

Hi there! This is Rose sharing a loving monochromatic card that I've made using a wonderful recently released rubberstamped image by Zindy S.D. Nielsen called Love Life. Crafts and Me Stamps carries an exclusive line of fabulous life-like stamps designed by one of their newest artists Zindy S.D. Nielsen.  You can find this image as a rubberstamp here.

I love the effect of using the "beyond the edge" diecutting technique with this image.  It really supports the amazing design of the image as the couple appears to be jumping off the card front.

EXCITING NEWS:  Teresa and I have been working closely on a 'top secret' project that we're planning to unveil soon. This card reveals a sampling of what you can expect to see.  What do you think our project covers?  Be sure to stay tuned here for more about this exciting news.

Just thinking

Happy weekend everyone,
So are you enjoying the Olympics? I hope so :D
My card for today is featuring the brilliant new Robin Pushay stamp called Fairy thinking of you. I have created my own background for her and inked all the edges. I was going for a warm summery feel that I hope I have got.

Colouring Black with Copics

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick tutorial on how to colour black using your copics.  I rarely use the colour black itself and if I did it would make the image look so dull and lifeless.  I usually colour from dark to light as when I first started I was warned that you can always add but taking it away is alot harder, but there is no right or wrong way, it is whichever you are more comfortable with.

I apologise for the pictures, we have been away enjoying the sun and extended our stay by an additional day so I literally got back last night and had to make this post so the quality isn't brilliant but it was very very hot in my craft room and the lighting wasn't brilliant.

The image is called "Glamour

First decide where your light source is coming from and for me this is mainly on the right with a little shadowing by her arm.  I have started with C7.

This is blended out with C5.

And then C3.

I like a sharp contrast so this is where I go back over but start with my darkest colour C9 and repeat the above process until you are happy.

And here is the finished result.

Misunderstood

Hi and good morning peeps! Karina here today. I am sure you already have seen the images of the new artist at Crafts and Me Robin Pushay. If not you really have to as they are just the sweetest ever!! I fell in love with them immediately when I saw them and loved to create with them. And I am sure you will as well.

The image I used on my first card is 'Misunderstood'. The background papers I used here are from Marianne D.

I coloured this adorable image with Copics.

On the pennant I stamped a little dog looking like the one this little angel is holding in her hands. I had this stamp already for ages and never used it. Now it was time to as I thought it would match quite good.

The second card I show you today is the one I made for our last challenge where I chose the theme R'n B for Ribbon and a Bow. Here I used Thinking on You from Robin Pushay as well.

I coloured the image with Distress Inks. I must confess I was quite happy with this colour combo I chose. Love the pink and green together.

Well, wish you a wonderful and sunny day now. Sending you some sunbeams as we have many of them right now.

Hugs, Karina

Hey everyone!

Today i`m going to show you a card i made here on my vacation...yeah i actually brought some crafty stuff with me, lol. But then again i`m just visiting my parents up north in Norway so i have the possibility to do some crafting.

For this card i have used an image by Hannah Lynn called Sadie`s dragon and it is one of the newest releases this month. It is available here.

This turned out as a quite easy one. As i don`t have my entire craft room with me it had to be allmost a CAS card, lol. Ok...that`s it from me today. Just make sure to hop on over to the challengeblog and join the challenge hosted by the rubbah team. I`m totally in awe over the fantastic creations the girls  have come up with. Hi there everyone!!

This week, I want to tell you about Primrose Princess - she is designed by Sara Burrier!!

Primrose has a beautiful dress with pretty little flowers on it, and I love the cute bird that flies above her head too!!

I've coloured her with my copics and I've tried to add a few folds to her apron after learning how recently.... but still I need more practice!! I think I needed to add some more depth to the shadows!! But she still looks pretty!!

I think this image is in the shop now, but if not she will not be too far away!!

Don't forget that a new challenge has just started today over HERE - so why not check it out!!  The girls have done some really amazing stuff for you this week:-)

Till next time
Happy Stamping

10% OFF Our fabulous new artist Robin Pushay and Two Adorables

Good morning everyone,
As promised for this week, we have Robin Pushay a fabulous new artist joining exclusively with us at Crafts and Me, with her wonderous images of Angels, Mermaids, Fairies and Seahorses turned into beautiful deeply etched red rubber stamps for you all to enjoy!!

Here is a bio about Robin Pushay followed by our very clever D.T. Tracy's post showing you some of the cards she has made with these new stamps.

The Love for art has been in my blood from many generations past..My mom was an artist and my father too. My sister was pretty good but she dropped it in her teen years ...I kept going .. I guess you could say I've had this passion for all my life to paint and create.
My work as an artist takes me into a place where no one can deny me. And to share with you all my love and passion for painting. I love painting children , Seascapes, landscapes , still life... all with a little twist of fantasy.
But most of all they all must tell a story, and it seems everyone sees them differently, and they are all delightful tales.
Robin

To celebrate this new release and the new release of Polka dot Melody by Lemon Shortbread and Gardens of Summer by Janna Prosvirina there will be 10% off these new stamps for 1 week only while stocks last for newsletter readers.

Happy stamping everyone,
Teresa xxx
