The little mermaid and then some....

Hey peeps!

I`m a bit late today and i`m sorry for that. I have been at work and i didn`t manage to finish my card yesterday. So i had to do the last embellishing today. I will do this very short (at least i will try, lol)

I chose to use The little mermaid for today`s card. Originally i was going for an other image but i am getting a new craftroom so everything is a bit all over the place. And of course i couldn`t find the image i was going to use, lol. That`s the prize for beeing a messy head, lol.

I am so pleased that i caught the shimmery body of the mermaid on camera. The white looking paper is actually a really light blue colour with shimmer in it but i didn`t manage to show it in the pic.

My second card for the day is the card i made for the last challenge hosted by the digi-team. The image is called Joyous Grace. I just loved to colour it. Those dresses are just amazing. You can find it here.

Well...that`s all from me today. There is still a chance to join the Gems and Pearls challenge at Crafts and Me challenges, so hop on over and get inspired by the stunning creations the Rockin` rubbah team has to show yah...

Thanks for looking and have a nice weekend.

Hugs...Mona

  2. Beautiful cards, Mona. Your mermaid look amazing with the shimmer and the colour scheme of your card is fabulous. I also love the shells you added. The second card is gorgeous as well. Love the brown tones and the background paper is perfect to it.

  4. Mona, oh my these are so stunning. I love the aqua's you used on the first one along with all the embellishments and of course the shimmer. Hey I am always losing things too. I am a messy crafter and get out way too much stuff and never put it back where it needs to go. Then when I go to look for something I can't find it until I don't need it anymore. Your second card with the angels is so beautiful. I love the colors you used on their dresses/gowns.
    Hugs:)
