Hey sweet crafters!
Finally the summer is coming to us here i the middle of Norway. Yesterday was incredibly hot for this time of season. It was soooo nice. Maybe i`ll actually manage to get fairly rosted before the summer is over, lol.
Well...anyway...every other saturday it is my (Mona) time to show you my creations. And for my card this time i have used two of the digistamps you can find in the Crafts and Me store. The first one is the lovely "Noon" by Sara Burrier. You can find it right here. The other stamp is the new mushroom fantasy and you can find it here.
I really had so much fun colouring up the mushroom image and i am a bit satisfied with it too. The "Noon" stamp i adhered on 3D coushins to make it pop out a bit.
I was totally in awe when i created my card yesterday. Some new digis by Sara Burrier is soon to arrive int the Crafts and Me store. And they are soooo gorgeous. I just sooooo wanted to use one of them on a card #2 but i had to work this weekend so i didn`t manage to finish my second card in time. So i only have this one to show you for this time. You really have something to look forward to. The digis are absolutely stunning!
I also want to show you the card i made for the pink and sweet challenge. I used the digi created by Hannah Lynn called Mystical Pond. This is one of the fabby new digis from this talented lady that is to be found in the store, right here.
Well...I don`t seem to have enything more to ramble about, thanks for putting up with me, lol. Just a little reminder...you still have the chance to enter the rockin` rubbah team`s Vintage/distressed challenge at the Crafts and Me challengeblog, so make sure to pop on over and join in on the fun.
Have a nice weekend you all!
Hugs...Mona

The Power of Green
Hi everyone out there. Karina here today. Did you have a happy Easter? I hope so.
I was in a green mode these days, like you can see on my card I made for today. I used the beautiful new digi stamp 'Aliah' which you can find HERE. She is from the fabulous artist Hannah Lynn. Check out the other gorgeous digis over at Crafts and Me as well, there are many others from her.

I coloured the image with Copics.
I tried several different flowers for adding to my card. And then ended up with those crochet flowers and leafs. I love them and I think they are the perfect addition. They not fit to each card, but I think to those images they are great.
The papers I used are from a local store.
Very soon some more beautiful digital stamps from the fabulous artist Sara Burrier are available at the Crafts and Me shop. Take a look at them, you will LOVE them.
And there is still some time left to join us in our challenge, where the theme is Vintage / Distressed.
Thank you for your visit here. Wish everyone a relaxing weekend.
Hugs, Karina

Aliah Bookmark
I love making bookmarks - probably comes from my love of reading - plus they are SO easy and FUN to make. My mom commented on my bookmarks recently so I knew I had to make her one. This is the one I've made her for mother's day. Maybe. I kinda like it, too. haha!! I used this gorgeous hannah lynn Aliah digital image available now at Crafts and Me. gosh, I absolutely LOVE her hair! When I print out any Hannah Lynn image, I first look at the hair - and I'll admit, every time I'm a little nervous so I might stare at it for a good 5 mins trying to figure out where I want to go with it, what color, where the highlights will hit, etc. It's the best way to get inspired though because the longer I look at it the more excited I get to coloring her! I paired her with some October Afternoon paper scraps and some of this gorgeous new trim I picked up recently. I saw the tulle and just had to grab some - How could I say no? Isn't it just a fun, whimsical touch? I love it. Expect to see more, much more! haha It was a giant roll. I also picked up what I *thought* was seam binding but it was quilt binding as I found out after I spritzed it with glimmer mist and it didn't get quite as wrinkly as I'd seen elsewhere. No prob, tho - I still LOVE it and since I had to cut it to size, I love the tattered vintage edges. That's what I used to create the twisted flower on top of the tulle which I also layered with a Prima flower.
Supplies:
Stamp: Aliah digital stamp by Crafts and Me Hannah Lynn
Paper: October Afternoon
Copics: E000, E00, E11, BG10, BG11, NG13, R21, B00, B04, Y23, YR12, YR14, G20, G21, G24, V000, V01, V06, R89, RV000
Embellishments: Prima Flowers, Misc Tulle & trim from stash
Adhesive: ATG, Helmar Acid Free Glue, Helmar Craft Glue

In the pink
This is I think still one of my favourite digi stamps over at Crafts and me. I have coloured them with promarkers and sakura pens so that they sparkle and I had to see what those toad stools look like in blue and I think it has worked quite well. I have glazed the tea pot and cups so they look a bit more like china and mounted the whole thing on 3mm foam pads so it stands out. For the boarder I used Martha Stewart's half daisy punch which you can get from Crafts and me at the same time as you hop over to buy this cute duo :D
There is still time to take part in this weeks Digi team challenge over at Crafts and Me challenges where we want to see some thing pink and sweet and the winner will get some promarkers.
I hope you all have a good bank holiday weekend.

Sorry to but in on Amy's post, but I just wanted to appologise to everyone for not sorting out the blog hop winners yet. I have had my Daughter in and out of hospital over the past two weeks and she is still there at the moment, it has been tough trying to keep up with everything here. I am going to do my best to get the winners posted on Tuesday at some point.
All the D.T GIRLS have been fantastic keeping everything going for me on the blogs etc.

Watering the Garden
Morning Peeps,
Gosh I have had a busy week with family birthdays, first my Mum, then my MIL's 80th, then my Son's 16th on Wednesday, plus I never seem to learn my lesson and allowed him 17 mates over for a gathering last night. Luckly the weather in the UK has been so glorious that they spent most of it in the garden and only two threw up, is that a good thing? We went to friends and left my daughter and her boyfriend in control, ummmmmmmm something she had to prove she could do as her 16th resulted in the riot police being called, lol. Anyway, all is good and I don't have to kill him today......
My card today is made using a Belle's n Whistle stamp "Watering" available HERE. It's currently showing as out of stock but if you email Teresa I am sure she will help you as to when it is due in.

For the Basic card you will need-:
1 Piece of 12"x12" CARD
1 Scoring Board and a pencil to mark the measurements.
You can decorate the card as you like so the rest is up to you.

2= On the 12" side Measure at 4" and 8" and mark with a pencil ,then at both the marks cut down to the fold which is half way down you will now have 3 4" sections.See pic below.

Then fold over each diagonal as in pic Below.
You are now ready to decorate as you wish below is the card with the folds up.
