Well I'm back again and still in one piece. My week only got slightly worse last week...... following on from my never ending list of problems last week, my car ended up costing more as they couldn't get the bush out and eventually warmed up the bolt to release it but actually melted it, resulting in a new steering arm and a couple of hours labour. So I decided to stay in the weekend as we had no money and thought nothing could happen. WRONG. We were sitting in the lounge on Sunday evening at 8:55 waiting for Being Human to come on, I was tapping away on my laptop and so was hubby. The TV turned itself off, then on, then off and eventually became one big bright light. We looked at each other and continued tapping away. My son came down a few minutes later and said, "why isn't being human on?". We casually said, we decided to watch it on the laptop. I think we had both had such a horrendous week that nothing could affect us anymore, so the TV blowing up was just another thing to us and so for the time being is catch up on the laptop until such time as we can afford a new one. So with a bill of just over £600 plus a new TV last week, this week can only get better.....so Vicky I hope this made you laugh............lol
Hope you've been enjoying the previews from the DT this past fortnight and I know you have all prepared your lists of what you want for arrival at the Stamperama in Stevenage on Sunday where they will officially be released. If you can't be with us, then please keep checking the blog for the online release date.
Just to tease you even more, I'd like to show you "Violet Fairy" by Jasmine Becket-Griffith available from Crafts and Me. If you saw the challenge post yesterday you would have seen this beauty in red, but in case you didn't, don't worry I'll pop her at the end of this post, just so you can see how different she looks coloured different colours. So here she is in blue:-
Didn't I tell you she was gorgeous and now look at her in Red:-
OK so there were a few of the red ones, lol......
Don't forget to check the Crafts and Me Blog for more previews over the next couple of days and also for the announcement of the online release date, probably best to become a follower, lol.
Also, the new challenge on the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog is the colour RED, you have two weeks, so why not pop to the Show and purchase your new stamps and show us what you have created using Red.
See you tomorrow.
