My Great News!!!

Good Morning everyone I have some great news!!!
My Son West is getting married in August in sunny Cyprus and he asked my Daughter Christy and I to make his Wedding invites what an honour of course we said "yes". This week we showed him an example they loved it & my future Daughter-in-law Lucy cried and cuddled us when she saw it, what more of a compliment than that can you have!!! she is so sweet...
So now it's full steam ahead to get them all made ready to send out. I will show you a pic. when I can of the invite.
Trish has made this fab card using the lovely Sweetpea Ching-Chou Kuik stamp called Dance of Butterfly which you can purchase from my store CRAFTS AND ME the sentiment is also a sweetpea stamp. Trish has coloured her with Promarkers and added sparkle with stickles, and cut the FANCY EDGE with scissors the lush papers are from K&Co the RIBBON is from Crafty Ribbons,adhesive gems are from Trish's stash.

March Release Sweet Pea Stamps!

Their here the new March release stamps are in my store ready for pre-order, there are three new stamp plates to choose from and two of them are from the new designer Elaine Cox. Elaines plates are wonderful with one of them concentrating on Alice in Wonderland as the image shows below. Perfect as the new film has just been released. And don't forget they also come in singles too, for those of you who prefer not to have a set, although the sheets are more value for money.

My new Camera and Pics yippee!!!

I'm back with my new camera so if the pics are sometimes iffy I can't help it I am just getting used to the camera. I cheated today, Hubby took the pics with the camera for me he knows more about the camera than me at the mo. I have to catch him up!!!
At least I will be able to show you cards I have made now...I made this card with Mothers day in mind, but have not put a sentiment on yet as I still am not sure who it will be for?
I used papers from Beyond Postmarks Designer Papers Pad available here in my store I then applied various stickles on the pink paper which you can't really see, then put faux stitching around the edges, The stamp is Camelia from the Stampsmith which is a photo stamp avail. here which I stamped on glossy cardstock with black staz-on ink pad and then added a little colour using La-Plume 11 brush pens here. I love these stamps they look like a real old photo when stamped. I have been asked before when I give these cards is it a real photograph? I added some flowers to the vase which don't show that much in the photo. pearls, ribbons, flowers are from my stash.For Mum again I think I will give her this one as I love this stamp sentiment you can get in my store its perfect for my Mum. The papers are from Beyond Postmarks Pad avail. here in the store which I then used stickles on. I put stickles on nearly all my cards I just have to add them, then I say just a bit more then a bit more, oh! I also added some to the flowers.
The Stamp is from Crafty Individuals which was a gift, I don't have this one in stock but there are other lovely images here
I stamped her on glossy paper with staz-on then mounted the image on white cardstock & added a touch of colour with Le- PlumePens11
The bow and flowers are from my stash.

AMY'S CREATIONS-lOVE IS GONE

Good afternoon everyone I know it's been a few days since my last post, but there has been hospital appointments after hospital appointments this week for my Husband Paul. For those of you who don't know already he had a Stroke back in 2007 when he was only 47 which was a major shock and then in September this year had a T.I.A which is a stroke but without any damage to the brain he is doing well with is recovery though, thank God. And it is more common than you think! I am going to put a link in the near future on my side bar to try and raise funds for stroke victims in the near future, as we want to give something back. So, if anyone would like to give a penny or two when I do this it will be very much appreciated. Because believe me when it happens to you it changes your world.
On a much brighter note I wanted to show you Amy's creations that she has made they are so inspiring thankyou Amy. If anyone would like to leave her a message here for her lovely work I am sure she would love to read them. Oh! I have gone on a bit look at how much I have wrote, I am going now before I get carried away again...

I just love the yummy chocolate cake background papers such a perfect match.
The colouring and shading is brilliant....

Trish's Beautiful Sweet Pea Card's

I am so EXCITED!!!!

Good morning everyone I was so excited last night when Trish my fabulous DT and her clever daughter made me an amazing blog badge for my side bar ( it's not on yet hopefully later) but you can view it at Trish blog & Marcea blog if you want to have a peep and on top of that another fantastic event happened when I looked on my store this morning and saw it is now no.97 in the U.K's craft sites I was over the moon, my dream was that this would happen and because of all you my friends out there it as happened, A BIG THANKYOU TO YOU ALL!!!
Now on to this amazing card made by Jacque using one of my favourite colours using the lovely fairy Love is Gone which is on order and will be back in store soon, she is very popular with you all...
And the chalks Jacque has used to give the desired effect don't they!!

Pretty Pixie

Good Morning, I was up to 2a.m this morning my Son came round with his Fiancee for the evening, so I am still have a sleep at the moment. They say its going to snow again today but no sign of it here in fact theres lots of sunshine hooray!
Sorry the pic. isn't very clear, my camera has broken & I have got to go and buy another one this week but am not sure which one would give the best close up images for the blog?
If you know of a really good camera you could recommend please let me know?
The card above I made some time ago using the wood mounted Pretty Pixie stamp from Oasis available here in my store. I used Black staz-on for the fairy image and stamped her on the card & stickles to colour her in, stickles are lovely to use on fairy wings don't you think! I used peel offs for the Happy birthday all in my store, the sentiment bling I put on the outside of the wrap both of these are from my stash.
I better go now i've gone on to much today.

Just a quick post today as I have another terrible headache but just had to show you what Trish has been up to she has been really busy with two wonderful cards to show us the first is this Groovy card with a fantastic 60's feel for all those beatle fans out there!
The Photo stamp from STAMPSMITH is of The Beatles from which you can purchase here at Crafts and me I have made it into a Valentines card. the image was stamped using Stazon Ink the papers are Red Capsule collection from Papermania and the Fan Heart Ribbon and Hearts beads are from Crafty Ribbons
