Elaina and Love Letters

Hi Everyone...

So this week it's my turn to have a little showcase at the Crafts and Me shop, and this week's it Elaina!!! She is designed by Hannah Lynn, and I just love the look of this little vampish girl!!

I have kept her hair as white as I can, because I could just see her with platinum blond hair!! I've added some SMOOCH to it, to give it a little bit of a pearlised look:-) Anyway here she is I hope you love her as much as me:-)

So I've added some feathers for a little bit of a flapper 1920's style hehehehe.  I've also added some Tim Holtz Washi tape to the side and my acetate images are Prima Stamps stamped with Stazon onto yep... Acetate... such a cool look:-) There is also a little bit of string on the bird cage:-) I coloured her fangs the same as her lips - only because I wanted her to be some what understated, if you get what I mean???

So My other card I want to flash at you, is my Challenge card from last week.... it's a Light and Airy coloured card,  and it's also another image by Hannah Lynn, this one is called Love Letter So here she is, I hope you love her as much as me:-)

If you would like some more info about this card, pop on over to my blog here, where you can see all the gorgeous stuff I used to create it:-)

Till Next Time

Bears, Butterflies and Fairies?

Where can you find Bears, Butterflies and Fairies?  You're right!  At Crafts and Me Stamps!

Hi there! This is Rose sharing three cards that I've made using beautiful images available at the Crafts and Me Stamps online store.

I've created a vintage-looking card using this beautiful A Warm Fuzzy Hug rubberstamped image designed by Elisabeth Bell for Sweet Pea Stamps.  You can find this image here.

This sweet fantasy rubberstamped image is named Fairy with Dried Flowers and is designed by artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith for Crafts and Me Stamps. Nearly all of Ms. Becket-Griffith's easily recognizable images are created as caricatures of herself.  You can find her here.

You may have seen this card at the current Light Airy Spring Colours challenge.  I've used a recently released digi image named July, designed by Sara Burrier, exclusively for Crafts and Me Stamps.  You can find July here.

You'll find more wonderful digi images and digi papers at the Crafts and Me store here.  Teresa adds new fantastic images each month!

You still have time to add your entry to the Crafts and Me Stamps' digi team's Light Airy Spring Colours challenge here for a chance to win your choice of THREE digi images!  Visit the Crafts and Me challenge blog again on Wednesday for a new Rockin' Rubbah challenge.

Here's wishing you a fabulous day!  We're so glad you stopped by to visit!

Golden Guitar Fairy

Hiya Everyone,

My card for you today is using the Golden Guitar Fairy by Jasmine Becket Griffith, I've gone a bit bright this time but love the outcome.

The papers are Prima, just love the aqua and pink although I realised afterwards that the flower corner section of the paper should have been placed to the top left, oh well.....

Here's a close up of the Golden Guitar Fairy, although I didn't give her a golden guitar, hehehe

I've used lots of dies, which are all listed on my blog if you are interested.

And here's a reminder to save you going back to the top...

I almost did it again, lol.  I finished this post and went into schedule when I realised I hadn't popped my Challenge card on here from last week, ooops, so without further ado, here she is.

Another Jasmine Becket-Griffith image called Sea Star, I thought I'd try out colouring some sea and was really pleased with the result.

The background is airbrushed and the sea was coloured by hand using copics and prisma pencils.

Have a good weekend everyone .

Elainia, Ocean Rose and Fashion Melody

Afternoon all!  I've come over all Marilyn Manson today and gone for a gothic type card :)  This one is using the new release image by Hannah Lynn called ELAINIA and is available straight away as a digi.  It doesnt come with that many swirls in the hair but I just added a line here and there and you know how it goes when you get your markers out - you just keep scribbling!

I've added the tim holtz die cut clock and the organza ribbon I shredded on the end so it wasn't so neat and tidy.  I also used the gorgeous new digi papers called Floral Fantasy, I'm using these a LOT lately as they fill out the card nicely as I'm not really an embellishent heavy kinda crafter so they look lovely.

Colouring close up - I used Orchid, Purple and Aubergine adding some white dots under the eyes with a white gel pen.

This one is also a new one by Hannah Lynn and is called OCEAN ROSE.  I'm not too sure about my swirls at the bottom, too much maybe but I was thinking a frame kinda effect lol!

I'm definately in a colourful mood lately arent I lol!  This one is the fabulous Fashion Melody.  I don't normally go for bright pink much but I'd run out of card to print my digi papers on (I dont like using paper) so I had a rummage through my file at ones I'd already printed out, you know what its like you'll use them one day!  This one was one of them with bright hot pink flowers on and a smidgen of violet so I went with that.  I can recommend that you know to get you outside the box just rummage through your paper drawer and grab anything out and match the image to it.  I think my bright pink promarkers were still brand new up until then lol!

Thanks for stopping by x

Fashion Melody

Hey sweet peeps!

I`m a bit late today posting my card but i hope you bare with me. Earlier this month Teresa released a lot of new digis. One of these are the wonderful Fashion Melody, designed by Lemon Shortbread. I have never used one of these designs before, so this one was new for me.

I really enjoyed colour her in as there were not much small and difficult areas. I also tried a new colour combo on her hair, and i really like the result. Here i have used Sandstone, Caramel and Buttercup. (ProMarkers) The first two are available at Crafts and Me, here

I also wanted to show you the card i created for the last digi-challenge. Here i have used a digi designed by Hannah Lynn called Cali girl. I just loooove this image. I find that i have been struggling a bit with my mojo lately but i love how this one turned out.

If you find the time we would love to see you over at the Crafts and Me challenge blog, entering the circles challenge hosted by the rubbah girls. If you don`t find the time, at least hop over an take a peek at the amazingly gorgeous creations they have prepared for your inspiration. Good luck in the challenge everyone!
