Sara Burrier's Forest Guardian and June

Hi there! This is Rose sharing two cards that I've made using beautiful, recently released digital images (and digi paper too!) available only at the Crafts and Me Stamps online store.

This magnificent and quite powerful digital image named Forest Guardian was created by Sara Burrier and is available exclusively through Crafts and Me Stamps (here). I found myself drawn to the detail of this incredibly beautiful image and expect that its symbolism can spiritually touch anyone who's experienced a broken heart from the loss of a loved one through a broken relationship or death. It can also affect environmentalists who seek to protect wildlife from building development. To see how the Forest Guardian envelops this devastated young lady, holding pieces of her shattered heart, within his majestic, angelic wings provides such comfort and hope.

Good Morning folks its Gina here with you this morning i'll be quick as i am rather busy this weekend with mum having been in hospital,i have a couple of cards to show you this morning one was my DT card for our last challenge and the other i made just for fun lol. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am sorry you have to put up with me again this weekend I promise it will not be me next week :D

This is the card I made for the current challenge over at the Crafts and Me challenge and this time is the digi teams turn but I could not resist this gorgeous new stamp any longer :D She is from the brand new release and called Golden guitar fairy. She is just perfect for the theme of things with wings.

I have coloured her with the following pro markers and flex markers:
Hair ; Gold, Canary, Lemon
Skin ; Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Top and eyes: Midnight blue, French navy, Azure
Shorts; Cocoa, Cinnamon, sandstone
Wings;Burgundy, Amaranth Red, Lipstick Red
Outline; Pastel Beige
Guitar; Red gold (metallic marker), Burgundy, Amaranth Red, Lipstick Red, Umber, Henna, Cocoa

Then just for that touch of sparkle I have added some sakura stardust clear pen to her wings. For the back ground I have used stamp roller and inked the edges

I hope you can get her before she sells out as I am sure all these new lovlies will.

Morning,

It's Friday and the weekend is ahead, my favourite feeling of the week, althought housework needs doing and that is definitely not my favourite feeling......

My card for you today is using an Art Deco image from Crafts and Me called Grace. I have coloured her in black and white.

I used some Basic Grey DP. The 2 dies are from Memory Box.

I colored her in all greens and blacks.

Sea Star

Hi everyone, Karina here today to show you some more creations I recently made. Both of my cards I show you are made with the new and fabulous images by Jasmine Becket-Griffith. The first one is Sea Star. I decided to make it a bit springlike as we had few so wonderful sunny and warm days over here which made me inspirated to give it a touch of spring. This beautiful image is great for many occasions. I coloured her with Copics. The papers I used are Basic Grey.

On the close up here you can see that I also added some sparkling to her wings and the stars.

The second card I show you is the one I made for our last challenge at Crafts and Me Challenges where we asked for something 'Pretty in Lace'. I used the gorgeous image Marie Masquerade for my project. Isn't she such a beauty? I really HAD to colour her hair in green :o). Love it this way. I made the colouring with Copics as well. The background papers I used are the new Floral Fantasy digital papers at Crafts and Me.

On the close up you can see that I paper pieced the dress of this mystical lady.

Manic Mondays

Hello all our lovely friends how are you all? Yes you have the pleasure of my company today ;0) & yes I'm running late..........its one of those manic mondays, so I'm just gonna get on with the job in hand.

Well the other day I was playing with my digi images, yes I know I'm on the Rubbah Team...........but I had played...........so wanted to show you all. I loaded up a few images in my art program deciding which would be the most perfect images to crops & this one is amongst my favourite..................

This beautiful image is of course 'Lady Of Opal' by Sara Burrier. I sooooooooo love her hair I'm fanatic about colouring hair & skin, hair is my absolute favourite thing to colour.

Now pop on over to here to see the image in full then you will see how I have cropped her but I have also mirrored her so she faces the opposite direction..........I think she looks like a different digi image lol.

She was of coloured with my copics & I glittered her wings up with shimmer glitter.

This is the card I made for the current challenge which is 'Pretty In lace' set by moi lol. There is still plenty of time to join in peeps.............go on I know you lurve lace!! The image is of course 'Butterfly Keeper' by Hannah Lynn which is a rubber stamp, this was my 1st ever Crafts & Me stamp & is still 1 of my most favourite stamp of all time. Both of these images today are from & exclusive to Crafts & Me.

Fairy sunset

Hi everyone :D
I hope you are all having a great weekend. I have a couple of cards for you this week and I am going for some oldies but goodies :D For my first card I have used the beautiful Fairy sunset (you can get her HERE) I have coloured her with pencils for a change. The paper is from memory box Fernbrae set and I have used a swirl stamp on the edges to give a bit more effect.

My second card is the one I made for the current Crafts and Me challenge that is to use lace. I have used the brilliant Kraftin' Kimmie "Nerissa" stamp HERE. I have coloured her with promarkers.

New release digis - Lemon Shortbread!

Afternoon all! Wow how excited am I that our latest batch of digis released yesterday include a couple from the designer Lemon Shortbread! I love her designs and her character Melody is so pretty! I couldn't wait to use one, well I want to use lots of the new releases which also include new Hannah Lynn's and Sara Burriers - check them all out HERE

I chose Butterfly Melody and decided to team her up with our delicious new digi papers from the Floral Fantasy range which are available in 12x12, 6x6 and 6x6 monotone. I chose one of the papers and flipped it and added a new layer then copying the melody digi in JPG format, pasted this on top so its filled in white to colour. I used a pale colouring of mauve on her with blonde hair adding a little gem and added a sentiment then simply matted onto a base.
My friend Tracy at craft club said she'd decoupage the flowers on these so I gave it a whirl and she was right, they look fab! I did the ones in top right and the butterflies.

This is another sample using the papers and just a simple printed sentiment I die cut :)

And this is from a couple of weeks back using Lady of the Stars, I (very carefully!) added nail art stars as they're teeny tiny.

And last but by no means least this is Janessa which I made into an easel post it holder. I have a cousin called Janessa so I got the colour combo from her as green and black are not ones I'd use very often but don't they go together really well? Its noce to go offroad sometimes and try a new style, technique or colour combo :)

Off to see to my poorly ick lil man now!

Yule Fairy in non-traditional colours

Hi everyone!

I`m having the worst flu i`ve had in years, so i`m gonna be quick about it today. I want to show you my second show sample card i did for Stamporama. Not my best colouring job but i think the embossed parts looks great. I heat embossed the Christmas balls and the details on the torch with silver embossing powder.

The image is called Yule Fairy and is designed by Molly Harrison.

My second card i created for the last digi challenge. Here i have used the new Floral Fantasy digi paper pad together with the Fairy Love silhouette available at the Crafts and Me store, here and here. I think the paper looked sooo gorgeous that i didn`t have the heart to cover it with lots of stash, so i just put on some gold corners and some die cut butterflies and bling and of course the image and sentiment too, lol.

Lady of the Stars shines with Moon Glow

Hi Everyone

My turn to showcase a gorgeous Digi stamp from Crafts and Me. This week I have Lady of the Stars to share with you, she is of course designed by Sara Burrier.

I have coloured her with my Copic's and then I've added some stickles to her wings to make them all sparkly. I put some Liquid pearl dots on the string of stars and I have stamped a little butterfly stamp with versamark ink and then dusted over with some Perfect Pearls powder. It looks so shimmery and sparkly in real life, so sorry I couldn't capture it in my photo. Anyway here she is I hope you love her as much as me:-)

My next card I want to show you, is my Challenge card from last week, Spring has Sprung. I've used Moon Glow, which is designed by Hannah Lynn. I've also used a piece of the scrummy Digi Papers that Teresa now has in store HERE... I've used Page 10 from the Forest Fairy pad. I've coloured the image with my Copic's and put some Stickles on her wings. I've also added some flowers, lace and ribbons. A cute little Bird Cage Charm and a tag from K&Company. The Gorgeous Doily is by Kaiser Craft:-) So Here she is, I hope you love this one just as much as me:-)

GPepper Tree and Fairy Houses with Digi Papers

Hi there! This is Rose sharing a couple of projects that I've completed using beautiful products recently released and now available at the Crafts and Me Stamps online store.

This lovely little mushroom fairy, licking her handsized jaw breaker candy, while she rests across a few mushroom tops, is called GPepper Tree. She was designed by Sara Burrier and is sold exclusively through Crafts and Me Stamps. You can find her here. I've used just the left half of a 12 x 12" sheet of page 20 from the Floral Fantasy digi paper pack (the other half of this sheet became one of my fairy houses as shown below).

These lovely little silhouette fairies are enjoying some leisurely time near their sweet little fairy houses hidden among the blooming flowers. You can find the digital images of Nature Fairy (here) and Fairy Friends (here) at the Crafts and Me Stamps online store. The fairy houses were made after printing 12 x 12" sheets of pages 10 and 20 of the Floral Fantasy paper pack (here).

Hi everyone i'm Sara i'm from Lancashire in the Uk and i am a stay at home mum to two gorgeous little boys . I have always loved to craft in one form or another think ive tried just about everything along the way then 6 years ago after my first son was born i discovered scrapbooking which soon led to card making and ive been hooked ever since !! My love now is definitely stamps and colouring i like to use different mediums and i'm equally happy playing with distress inks copics or prisma's i love the diferent effects you get with each . I am so excited to be part of this amazing team I have always loved fairy/fantasy art and to get to work with these beautiful images really is a dream .

Well how excited am i to be posting on here !!!! a little nervous too i admit its such a talented team !! so i'll jump straight in and show you my card i guess , I chose a beautiful Sara Burrier image called Teas and Sandwiches and sat ready to colour then thought hmmm i wonder what would happed if i combined it with another image .... so i added in Dear Diary also by Sara and here's what i came up with

the thing with me is i dont think ive really grown out of the faries at the bottom of the garden thing !! so i guess this is the little scene i spent most of my childhood searching for !!

I coloured with copics used some background stamps for the papers and crocheted the flower and with a few more flowers and lace thats my little secret world !!

Hi everyone. It's Angela here today to share with you some of my newest creations. This will be a fast post as I have been working long hrs.at work this week and I should had been in bed hours ago.

This first card I have to share with you, I used one of Sara Burrier's Rubber stamps called "Turn To Hesed" and can be purchased HERE.

I used a digital image by Hannah Lynn for my second card called "Janessa" Fairy.

I also used some NEW DIGITAL PAPERS that Teresa has NOW available in the store HERE called "Floral Fantasy" and has 30 sheets of 6x6 papers in it. This set of digital papers is also available in 12x12 .

Black and White Colouring

Hi everyone, Karina here with two cards to show you. I must confess that I really got hooked by black and white or monochrome colouring. And I wanted to give it a try at one of my favourite images by Crafts and Me, at Janna Prosvirina's Clematis. And I love the result. I coloured her with Distress Inks.

I combined a bit of yellow touch for the background of the image. This way it doesn't look to much as a sympathy card.

The second card I show you today is the one I made for our last Crafts and Me Challenge where we had the theme Distressing. I love distressing parts of my cards. It gives a great look and a touch of vintage. Here I used a Janna Prosvirina image as well; Belladonna. I also coloured with Distress Inks.

Stamporama Show sample

Hey Peeps!

I was so bold that i begged Teresa to make a couple of samples for Stamporama as i had some of the stamps she was going to show off. Luckely for me, she said yes, lol. Here in this post i will show you one of my samples.

I have used a stamp by Molly Harrison called Wonderland. It is available here. I decided to use some soft and delicate colours for both the paper and the image. It looks totally different from the original artwork by Molly Harrison.

The next creation is the bookmark i made for myself. This is the sample i made for the last digi challenge. Here i have used the brand new Chrysanthemum designed by Sara Burrier. She is available here.

As you can see I have masses of flowers on my card - they are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. I've also used some of my Favourite Magnolia Dies. The cute Paper is from Kaiser Craft and it's called Sweet Nothings.

Golden Guitar

Good Afternoon folks its Gina here i have another preview for you today this ones called Golden Guitar by Jasmine Becket-Griffith is soon to be released. Have you seen the gorgeous digi papers that Teresa now has in the shop i tell you they are gorgeous i have used one of them on today sample that Teresa has taken to the Stamparama show today, i've used one of the new digi papers on here too.

Not my normal sort of colour choice but wanted to try something different. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi everyone I hope you are all looking forward to your weekend and that you are going to stamperama. My card today is one I made for this weeks Crafts and Me challenge. The challenge is to use a new stamp that you have not used before. I was very lucky to get my hands on one of the new releases from the Jasmine Becket-Griffith range. There are 4 new ones that the lucky people who can get to the Crafts and Me stand at Stamperama will be able to get there hands on this Sunday. I so wish I could go but am working on tomorrow :(
There will be loads of items on sale as well as these new show releases so well worth going if you can.

Now onto my card. This beauty is called Sea Star and I have coloured her with promarkers and flex markers, before adding touches of sparkle and shine with metallic promarkers and sakura stardust pens. I have coloured her in the following colours:

Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Hair: Black, cool grey 5, Cool grey 4, Cool grey 3

I have kept the rest of the card plain to show off the stamp. I have used my dreamweaver brushes and midnight blue ink to distress all the edges and used the gold and navy card to mat and layer with.

Hiya Peeps,

I'm back again with a sneak preview of what is being unveiled by Crafts and Me this Sunday at Stamperama Stevenage. The image is called Scarlet Sofa by Jasmine Beckett-Griffiths and will be available to purchase from Crafts and Me online after the show depending on stock.

I have to admit my mojo was missing when I made this card. I have decided that I must of had flu, correction, still have flu. I have been unwell for two weeks now and have been struggling to talk without coughing for most of this week. With the snow falling from the sky I won't be venturing out of my house and will be praying for the rain to come on Saturday and clear it all away so I can drive to Stamperama on Sunday.

And I also want to show you the card I made for our last challenge with the theme Bright Colours, for which I used Pale Rose by Jasmin Becket-Griffith.

Good morning i do hope that you are all keeping warm, hasn,t it been freezing i just hate being cold i,m such a wimp,i loved taking photos when the snow was falling as this is when it looks lovely not when it turns to sludge and then freezes making it hazardous underfoot.

Now onto my creation for today !!!Our lovely Boss Teresa sent each Rubbah DT a NEW Jasmine stamp to play with and to show you.These will be showcased all this week and available to buy at the STAMPERAMA SHOW in Stevenage Details HERE If you cant make it Sunday then don,t dispair all the stamps will be available at the store during the following week when Teresa adds them to the store.

Heres a closeup photo of the Gorgeous stamp i recieved she was a dream to colour isn,t she beautiful, i,m sure you will agree.

And heres my card it,s a 5 and 1/4 inch sample card which is on it,s way to Tracy to be added to the sample book for the Stamperama show,these have to be as flat as possible with no bulky embellishments.

Theres also 30 Forest Fairy 6"x6" and 12"x12" Digital Papers as a pad available right now in the store HERE you must see these there Just FABULOUS for all your fairy creations.I would have used them on this card but have to get new Ink my colour cartridge has ran out Boo hoo!! I,m sure it wont be long before you see them on my lovely Teamies creations.

Good morning everyone I hope your all having a fantastic weekend and aren't suffering too much from all the snow and freezing temperatures, we have no snow at all here, well not yet anyway...no ice, no freezing, it makes a change because Ireland usually gets the brunt of bad weather, you never know it may miss us altogether this time fingers crossed...I have two gorgeous images to show you this time and the first is a Sara Burrier images called Casting Down Imagination, isn't she just stunning, I used a scrap of paper I had left for her and the gingham is such a soft green it suits her so well don't you think...the second card is using one of the new silhouettes called Fairy Love, its a perfect image against the deep pink isn't it...all the details of my cards are on my blog as always I would love you to visit...we are having family lunch today so I better go and prepare some vegetables...have a wonderful Sunday everyone

Afternoon all! I've got 3 to share with you today using stamps by Crafts & Me. First up is one of the brand new digis by Sara Burrier - this is LADY OF THE STARS which is coloured mainly in flexmarkers and a little bit of promarkers. I added glamour dust with a glue pen along the string and also used the glue pen to attach tiny stars. I made this one quite simple as I wanted the full size image so printed her out at 6" tall and have attached with black, blue and silver holographic card.

Next up is MOONGLOW which I've done in a pink theme using promarkers and the white bits are all glamour dust (ultra fine crystal glitter) She's by Hannah Lynn and is one of my favs :)

And lastly this is a rubber stamp by Hannah Lynn called BIRTHDAY GIRL. I love all her frills and she was really fun to colour.

Well peeps I hope you're all managing to keep warm, get those fluffy socks on and nuggle down under the duvet which is where I'm heading now! x

Smartie Pants

Hey Peeps!

I`m so sorry i am late...again...this seems to be the case a lot of times lately, lol. It is so hard to figure out a schedule i can live with, now that i have picked up some more hours at work, but i`ll figure it out, lol.

I have some good news i want to share with you. Last night my niese gave birth to a healthy baby boy. We are so proud of her doing it the old fashioned way, lol. Both i and My sister has 2 caesareans each so we were happy that Cecilie didn`t have to go through it. The fun part in this is that i get to tease my sister course she is only 37 years old and allready a grandmother, lol. My parents are relatively young too. Mum has managed to become a great grand-mother at the age of 57. I bet she wasn`t too happy about it at first, lol

Well...over to my card. I have used a bit more colour than i usually do for my creations. But this image screamed out for bright colours, lol. This is a brand new release by Hannah Lynn and i think it is soooo cool. She is called Smartie Pants. I just imediately fell for it when i saw it, lol. If you like it, it is available right here in the Crafts and Me store.

I tried to take a pic so you can see the "glasses". I used Glossy Accents to make the glass in her glasses. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Pucker up it's Kissy Fish !!!

Hi Everyone, how are we all? It's Karen here

Crafts and Me is having a release day today.... yep it's the first day of the month, so that means new digis for us to play with, but the card I'm sharing today isn't a newbie... heheheh tricked ya's

This one is called Kissy Fish and it's by Hannah Lynn. I've coloured her up with my copic's and I decided to use some colours I don't use often which is apricot... I thought she would look nice with some red and green, and then I gave her some black hair instead of brown!! I always do brown hair don't I ??? anyway I have some N copic's which are kinda new, so I guess that's why I've always done brown.... anyway here is my card - I hope you like it!!

So do you think she looks kinda Spanish? I dunno, maybe it's just me... but I think she does:-) On my card I have some cheese cloth which I sprayed with glimmer mist in suede - looks cool doesn't it, My lace I think is from Prima - but it could be Webster's or May Art's.... I can never remember LOL. The flowers are of course from Wild Orchid Roses, and so is the seam binding! My cameo is a purchase from ebay, and the washi tape is by Tim Holtz!! The Paper is from Basic Grey's Little Black Dress 6x6 Paper Pad!!

My next card I would like to show you, is Crafts and Me, Exclusive, Nature Fairy... I made this one for the Pink and Sparkly Challenge that I was the host for, I hope you enjoyed it as much as me:-) So anyway here she is, hope you like this one too!!

I changed the black silhouette to pink in my photoshop, but then I smothered her with Glitter, she looks so sparkly and pretty!! Crafts and Me have some awesome glitter here

My Paper is from My Minds Eye, Chevron.... is so hot right now have you seen it everywhere??? It's like everything I've been looking at from CHA is all got some sort of chevron in it!! COOL!!! Anyway I've made this one kinda plainish, so there is only a little flower and cabochon, with some string. The Pom Pom trim is really cute, and the strip of paper is a little scrap that was floating about on my desk at the time so I stuck that on too!!!

Anyway, I hope your all keen as for the new challenge which will be starting soon....

2 ways with pins

Hi everyone I have 2 creations for you today the first is a card and I have used the gorgeous stamp from the Crafts and Me Sara Burrier range called "The Leap" available HERE the I have then coloured with promarkers and added sparkle with sakura stardust pens. I have inked all the edges to give a more distressed look. I have added some ribbon, flowers and pins to finish it off.

For my second creation I have made a bag charm using a big nappy pin :D For my main image I have used the fun Hannah Lynn "Alice Lost" image. I stamped her in Hydrangea stazon (you can get different colours of Stazon HERE) Then used my heat gun to shrink it down and put it on an eye pin with some beads before attaching it to the pin. I think I will be making some more of these it is a great way to use up odd beads and charms.

Hi,

Can't believe its Friday again but I am rather glad that it is. Did my gym session again last night and don't I know it this morning. I must do more mat exercises rather then the CV and then I won't keep aching as much as I do. Mind you I haven't had the time lately, too many things going on. Oh well, you learn don't you.

Today's card is using another stunning image from Zindy Nielsen at Crafts and Me. She is called "Believe" and I have for a change I got my pencils out and coloured on kraft cardstock.

Gorgeous papers are by Pion.

Isn't she beautiful.

I think my photos would look better in daylight. Have a good weekend everyone.

First Snow in Pink

Hi Everyone! It's Angela here and it's my turn to share with you today my newest creation. Today I have a card using one of Zindy Nielsen's images called "First Snow". Sorry my pic's are so bright but with that bright pinks and the way my lamp hit's it, it is so bright. I tried taking out the contrast but then the image lost most of it's true color. The image is bright in real life.. I used copic colors RV29, RV25,RV04.RV02, RV19, I think that was all the colors I used on her coat.

I used some older Basic Grey Christmas/Winter paper, Wild Orchid Crafts Roses, Pearl pins, Spellbinder die and Sizzix Corner dies, thick lace doily, Proverbs saying, wide ribbon, and a gold and pearl center button.

Hi everyone, hope you're doing fine... better than me, as I am fighting with a bad flu since four days which doesn't allows me to do anything, not a tiny little colouring or glueing some papers togehter... nothing... I cannot remember feeling that aweful lately, just lying around, watching some TV and sleeping. Well, luckily I worked ahead with my cards and can show you a new one today nevertheless. At least I manage to post it, when I cannot do anything else.

Well, the card I show you today I made with this gorgeous new image by Zindy Nielsen called 'Red Riding Hood'. Well... mine is more Blue Riding Hood :o).

And I also want to show you my card I made for our latest challenge where we asked for using Pins. I used another fabulous image by Zindy Nielsen called 'First Snow'.

Hi everyone Vicky here today. I'm so sorry I'm late my head is in the clouds & I totally forgot about my post...............really my blog should be Thicky Vicky lol.

Anyway I will push on. I'm showing you a couple of card front that I have made ready for the show. These have to be 5 1/4 inches & flat........yeah me & flat dont go together very well at all.........I'm trying to learn tho lol.

Anyway here are 2 by the artist Janna Prosvirina & I finally got to ink these beauties up....

First up we have Belladonna

Isn't she gorgeous & I loved colouring this one especially her dress.

Next up we have 'Black Rose' & she really is so easy to colour I think she was my quickest ever coloured image lol............well for me as colouring takes me ages lol.

I love the wings on this image. The flower is now removed, it was just placed on for photo shoot lol.......like I said flat is hard to do lol. These stamps are larger than normal which makes them fabulous to colour in Of course both these stamps are exclusive to Crafts & Me Store only.

New Silhouettes

Hey peeps!

You might have noticed that we are stocking some new digis exclusive for Crafts and Me. Silhouettes. These are just gorgeous and i never knew they could be so versatile until some of my teamies showed what you can do with them. I decided to make a quick and easy black & white card. These images are perfect for this type of card i think.

For my card i have used Fayette Fairy digi stamp. I think this is my favourite of this range.

I also want to show you the card i made for the Christmas bumper challenge. I am totally amazed by how many that entered the challenge. And soooo so many fantastic creations. I`m just happy it`s not gonna be i that has to pick a top 3, lol.

The image i have used is called Kissy fish and is designed by Hannah Lynn. I have coloured her with ProMarkers.

Well, i don`t have much else to show you, so now i`m gonna bake a cake. My youngest daughter turned 4 year this last week, and tomorrow my inlaws are coming to visit and to celebrate her birthday. So i`d better tidy up the place a bit too, lol. Also don`t forget to enter the Rubbah team challenge over at the challenge blog. The Rubbah girls have really created some amazing samples for your inspiration. Fairy Love Just for You

Hi Everyone, Hope your all well. Today I am showing you a new cool Digital Stamp from Crafts and Me. This one is called Fairy Love and is available now.

So it's a Silhouette... and you may have noticed that mine is white... Yeah.... cool huh... you wanna know how I did it?? easy actually... but first take a look - I hope you love it as much as me!!!

Ok so this is how I turned the black fairy love silhouette into a white one.... first of all I went into my photoshop and fiddled a bit... I was trying to change the colour there, but I didn't figure it out... so... what I did instead was flip the image... then I printed it out on some white card. Then I carefully cut her out... Hey Presto!!! when you flip the paper over - she is now white!!! heheheh I then chucked on heaps of sparkly glitter, and then had a look through my masses of off cut papers... (I really need to use them) so I found what I wanted and set about making the card!! Glued on a Prima Butterfly some pretty Kaiser and Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers, cut a tag and stamped on a sentiment, and to pretty it up tied on an Angel Charm!!

My next card i want to show you, is my last Challenge card that I did for the Bumper Christmas Challenge - did you enter?? I think everyone did from the amount of entries we had!!

So this one is using Twilight Lily Fae I love this one, with the lantern, so pretty. I've coloured her up with mostly my G copics and I did her wings with the Mint Atyou Spica Pen... I sure do love my sparkles - if you hadn't noticed!!! Anyway this one is kinda plain, as I wanted it to be all about the image:-)

Thanks for looking and I hope you have had a great start to 2012. For us we have finally started building our new House... so it's all systems go there. Hopefully it will be finished in about 6 months or so, which means that we will be moving in the middle of our winter... joy... but it's going to be so wonderful, I'm getting my very own proper Craft Room - YAY for me:-)

Anyhoo onto my card for today and I decided to use the gorgeous Moon Glow who is available to purchase here. I've always wanted to try and colour one of these beauties in with non traditional hair colours and after seeing her pic on the webstore I thought I would just give it a go. Simple Note Card Folder Set with New Silhouettes

Hi there! This is Rose sharing a simple note card folder set that I made using the amazing digital silhouette fairy stamps that Crafts and Me Stamps has recently released. They're beautiful images that can easily be resized to provide wonderful consistency within a card set that's perfect for gift giving! What a fabulous way to share handwritten notes with magically enchanted cards.

To create your folder, cut a 12x12 sheet of heavy cardstock to 11" x 8 1/2" then with the long side of the paper horizontally, score a vertical line at 5 1/2" and 6". Scored another line 2 1/2" above the bottom edge. Make a mark with a pencil along the bottom edge of the cardstock 1/2" on each side of the vertical scored lines. Line up the 1/2" mark with the outside intersection of the scored lines and draw a line. Cut along the diagonal lines and remove the center too. Here's how the outline of the folder looks now:

Score and Cut Folder Outline

Pencil mark 3" above the bottom scored line of the folder at 3/8" from each outside edge and each center score lines. Punch a 3/16" hole over each of the pencil marks and set 1/4" large eyelets with the backs of the eyelets facing the inside of the folder. Fold at the score lines to form the folder and crease each fold with a bone folder for a nice, crisp crease. Add a 2" length of super strong 1/4" redline tape to the outside vertical edges of the flaps only. (Do NOT adhere tops or diagonal edges of flaps.) Here's how the folder looks now:

Add eyelets for threading ribbon

Adhere the folder flaps to the bottom outside edges. Using a 30" length of 5/8" satin ribbon, begin to thread the ribbon through the eyelets. First through the top of the right side of the front cover (ribbon shows inside folder), through the underside of the left side of the front cover (ribbon shows outside of the folder's binding edge), through the bottom of the left side of the back cover (ribbon shows inside folder) and finally through the top of the right side of the back cover. There's enough ribbon to hold A2-sized cards and envelopes in place when they're inside of the folder and to tie a nice big bow on the outside of the folder's side.

Hi Crafts and Me Fans,

It's my turn to show you what I have created using this beautiful image by the new designer Zindy Nielsen called "First Snow". This image would suit Christmas as well as Winter birthdays or any winter ocassional card for that matter.

Lots of texture again from me, snowtex and a helping of distress crackle paint too.

My favourite Tim Holtz on the edge snowflake die was itching to get another outing, lol. I added a second layer of gold snowflakes too.

I hope everyone is having a great 2012 so far. I am trying my hardest to stay caught up this year and at the same time just have fun with what I create or do in life. My Biggest goal for this year to try my hardest to stay away for STRESS.

Hi dear Crafts and Me friends, Karina here today. My first post in the new year... hope everyone had a good change of the years and were able to spend some lovely and relaxing days off. Did you made some intentions? Mine are to watch what I eat and to lose some grams... I guess those are the most made intentions each January, after days eaten way too much over the celebration days.

Have you already seen our new artist Zindy Nielsen? I am sure you have, as she has such gorgeous images. Today I want to show you a card I made with one of them called Believe. I love this image so much. And it is useable for so many occasions I think.

I coloured her with Copics and the papers I used for the background are from Basic Grey Little Black Dress.

Tealight card featuring First Snow/Zindy S.D. Nielsen

Goodmorning Crafts and me fans, i hope you are all well and i guess a few of you are like me have eaten too much (chocolates,cakes,and all things fattening ) and are now going to embark on a keepfit and more healthly eaten plan. Well i will be next week once i,ve finished my jelly beans lol!!

Today i will be showing you the Tealight card i made for the Crafts and Me bumper Christmas challenge. Actually i made 3 different ones using the same image, One of the Exclusive to crafts and me Zindy S.D. Nielsen rubber stamps this ones called First Snow, she is a dream to colour.

Hi everyone hope you have all had a fabby weekend. I have 2 cards to show you today that I made for christmas with Crafts & Me fabulous new artist 'Zindy Nielson' her images are sooooooooo beautiful!!!

This first card I made for my eldest son & his girlfrind, well now fiance as they got engaged on christmas day.

This is 'First Snow' & the walt disney movie 'Beauty & The Beast' inspired me on this card as this image reminds me of Belle when she is playing out in the snow with beast....it was my sons favourite movie when he was 2 years old, that & jungle book lol.

Here is the close-up of her, isnt she so pretty!! I really enjoyed colouring this image, she is a pleasure to colour!!!!!!!

This one was done for the current Crafts & Me Challenge & was a christmas card for my step-mum.

This is 'Catching Snowflakes' & I coloured the ground to make it look as tho the snow hasnt quite covered all of the grass so you can just still see tufts of it peeking through.

Both of these fabulous images are by Zindy Nielson & are exclusive only to Crafts & Me Store.

Runaway Princess

Hey Peeps!

Happy new year to you all! It`s my first post here at this blog this year and i`m starting with a beautiful image by Hanna Lynn called "Runaway Princess". Isn`t she a total beauty? She is to be found right here.

I have kept my card clean and simple to get the main focus on the image. There is a lot going on in there, so i didn`t think i needed too much embellies.

I also want to show you the card i created for the last digi challenge. This is also a Hanna Lynn design. And the image is called Kissy fish. It is available here. Here i tried to make some kind of christmas creation in untraditional colours, but i`m not sure it works, lol. Anyway, i hope you like it.

Hello Everyone,
I want to wish all my friends out there in blogland a very Happy New Year with good health and happiness to you all. I hope you had a lovely christmas too!

I also want to thank my fantastic team of girls for all their support, work and dedication to me and the Crafts and Me store this year, I couldn't have managed without them. Thankyooooou girls the best team in the world!!!

I had my first Grandson Alfie, born on the 18th of December so I have had a full line of baby washing nearly everyday. How can a baby so little have so much washing lol! his tiny clothes airing off on the banisters too! He needs a big wardrobe already.

I appologise for the digi's being a day late this month.
I thought we would have some silhouette digi's this month, I am very interested to know if you would like to see more of these in the store.

I did hope to have a brand new card to show you but have had a nasty cold and lots of running round familly to do so I have my card that I made using one of the brand new Zindy Nielsen stamps called Red ridding hood available HERE for you. I have coloured her with pro markers then mounted her on foam pads so she stands out a bit from the rest of the card. I have torn the DP to give the white distressed edge .

Sorry, I am running so late, but my stamps just came in yesterday so I was trying to get a new image colored up. After I finished her I was so tired that I couldn't keep my eyes open to finish my post for today.

Hi everyone, Karina here today. I hope each one of you had a wonderful Christmas time. Now just few days to go and we'll have the Changing of the Years. As I had quite some busy days lately I only have to show you one card today. It is the one I made for our actual Christmas Bumper Challenge over at Crafts and Me Challenges. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Here in Norway we are celebrating Christmas day today, the 24th. I was scheduled to work for a few hours today but my sweet boss managed to find someone that wanted to take my shift. So now my day isn`t going to be so stressful after all.

I am sorry but i haven`t had the time to make a new creation for today`s post, so i thought i would show you some of my previous makes for Crafts and Me. I have selected a few creations that are my favourites of my Crafts and Me makes.

The first card i want to show you is the card i created for the last digi-challenge. Since i wanted to show off this gorgeous image a little better i went for a 8x6 inched card in traditional Christmas colours. The image is called Poinsettia and is available here.

My second card i posted her in the shop blog a while back. I think this is one of my fav Sara Burrier images. She looks truly divine. She is called Twilight Lily Fae and she is available here.

This 3rd card is called The Talisman and is a card i created for the "lace" challenge back in august. I just love the colour combo of this card. You can find this super sweet image here.

My last card today i created for the "Use a digi" challenge. The image is called Lady of Opal and she is available right here. I noticed i only had picked cards using Sara Burrier images, lol. Well...she is my fav artist, so it isn`t so strange anyway, lol.

Well...now we`re soon off to my mother in law. Usually we are celebrating Christmas at home but since i originally was going to work today we had arranged to go and visit my hubby`s mother for Christmas. Lucky me don`t have to slave over the stove either today, hahaha. I wish you all, and especially my fabulous team mates and Teresa, a very merry Christmas. I wish for you to get a lot of crafty stuff under the Christmas tree, lol!

Christmas Miracle and Morning Glories

Hi Hi Everyone!! Well not long to go now, and Christmas will be done and dusted for another year! Can you believe it? GOSH I know I just said this recently, but where has the year gone.... I guess I have been so busy running around with Ruby's Doctor's, Paediatricians, Eye Specialists, Physio Therapy and the most wonderful early learning teachers in the world.... I guess the world didn't stop LOL and I have been busy also designing our dream house and trying to keep myself relaxed with my crafting... gosh, I have been busy when I write it all down like that!!! no wonder the year has flown by for me!!

So this is my last "shop" post before Christmas, so I would like to wish you and your wonderful families a safe and very Merry Christmas!!!!!

So anyway, back to the crafty goodies.... this week at Crafts and Me, I am showing off a cool Digi stamp called Morning Glories and it's by Sara Burrier. This image has been around for a while, but this is my first time in colouring her up. I love this image, I think it's really beautiful, so here she is, I hope you love her as much as me:-)

I have coloured her in some YR copic's to give her a kinda golden looking dress. I have coloured her wings in the gorgeous Atyou Spica pen in Buttermilk, yum yum and then used the gold pen to darken up some of the bits on her wings, they really do shimmer and sparkle in real life!! Just a shame the photo doesn't show it off properly:-(

The flowers she is sitting in, I've coloured with my favourite R copic's - 81, 83, 85 and just a touch of 89. My paper is from Kaiser Craft, and the pretty butterfly is from Prima. The flowers are Kaiser Craft and Wild Orchid Crafts,the seam binding is from Wild Orchid, and the Lace I think is also from Prima.

My next card I have to show you is my Challenge card from Last week. It's Christmas Miracle, by Hannah Lynn. If you click on the link you will find the image in it's whole form.... (oops, I kinda chopped a few bits off the bottom, serves myself right for not paying attention to what I was actually doing!!!!!....) Anyway here she is:

Pretty huh? My papers for this one, are from Kaiser Craft (I just love there 6x6 paper pads) My lace is from Prima, I love Prima, there is some Stickles of course, which are available HERE, my cute tag is from K&Company and I have added on some Purple ribbon and some scrummy twine. My Pin is from Maya Road, and I've jazzed it by adding some more pearls and crystals to it... because you can NEVER have too many right? Well I think so!!!

Hi there! This is Rose sharing two cards that I made recently using images available at the Crafts and Me Stamps online store.

I made some time to use this lovely Little Curls rubberstamp image designed by Elisabeth Bell for Sweet Pea Stamps. You can find her at the Crafts and Me store here. Anticipation for the "BIG" day is just making this little girl crazy and she can't wait to see what kind of wonderful present is in that box. She knows she's not allowed to touch it so she stretches her toe, testing how close she can get without actually touching it - LOL!!! It won't be too much longer now!

First Snow !!!

I was so excited yesterday as when I woke up I got my first snow of Christmas! It did not settle as it was too wet but it was nice to see. Now we are just back to the rain lol :D
For my card today I have used this gorgeous new image. She is one of the brand new stamps just released yesterday over at Crafts and me by the incredible Zindy Nielsen, she is called First Snow. I have coloured her with the following pro and flex markers:
Skin: vanilla, dusky pink
Hair: Walnut, henna, cinnamon
Cloak: Lush green, flex marker charteuse, pastel green

For the rest of the card I have used some Marianne D's dies for the pine branch and the snowflakes. I have inked the edges of all the stars with versa magic midnight blue and also inked the background with it.

Introducing our new artist Zindy Nielsen and her beautiful images

Good evening everyone and a Merry Christmas to you all from us at Crafts and Me,

I am back at last after losing internet and email access from changing telephone and broadband suppliers, I have been far from happy as I was promised it would not affect my internet.
I would like to thank all my customers who carried on ordering with these problems going on.

On a much happier note we have just foumd out my Daughter Christy after having her scan is having a baby Boy next year, so I will be a new Nan to two beautiful Grandson's I have already got two girl Granddaughters, so two of each.

My name is Zindy Stine Desirée Nielsen. I live in beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark.

I have been drawing on and off since I was a little girl. It wasn't till I was in my early 20's I realized this was what I wanted to do with my life.

I love everything drawing especially fantasy and emotive motives, anything that speaks to me. I mainly draw females, portraits and occasionally cats.

I am very inspired by my emotions and always have been. Especially sadness and love as those are the most powerful emotions to me. I also find inspiration in nature and music.

I love to work in many mediums, such as ink, colour pencils and pastels but my favourite medium is without a doubt charcoal as you can achieve such softness and darkness with it.

Happy Friday Peeps,

Well it's only a week to go until Christmas and I am nowhere near ready. I'm planning to get the decs up this weekend and catch up with my best mate with a couple of drinks and boy do I need a night out. I still have some shopping to do but am aiming to head out late tomorrow afternoon hoping that everyone would have gone in the morning. Wish me luck.

I have made a few chrsitmas cards using the Fairies from Crafts and Me. I've used traditional colours. The fairies seemed to have been a popular choice for Christmas this year and I can see why, isn't she a beauty.

Sharing A lot of Digi image cards

Hi everyone. I am running late showing my creations. I have 4 cards to share with you and they are all using Digi images from Crafts and Me.

This first one is a digi by artist Hannah Lynn called "Runaway Princess". This image has so much in it that I probably forgot to color something, but regardless I am happy with it anyway.

For this one I used and image by Sara Burrier called "The Blessing".

This one I used another digi image by Sara Burrier called "Autumn". I love this image. I think she is just gorgeous.

This is the card I created for out late Rubber DT challenge. But I didn't use a rubber image instead I used this gorgeous digi image by Sara Burrier called "Lady Of Opal".

I can't believe this year is almost over. My craft time has been so little her lately so I tried to keep my creations simple and let the image and coloring take center stage.

Christmas is all around

Hi everyone, Karina here today. I hope you are doing fine and am ready for Christmas. All preparations done? Not many time to go anymore... where has the time gone. It feels like the last weeks passed by like a jet... :o)

Lately I was so much in the mood to create Christmas cards with image which are not christmassy. And this was so much fun. Today I want to share two of them with you.

The first one I made is with one of my most favourite Sweet Pea Stamps image called 'One and only heart' by ching-chou kuik's. I coloured the image with Distress Inks. The papers I used are from Simple Stories. I love how it turned out. I haven't use that much embellies as I usually do.

The second card I show you today is the one I made for our last challenge at Crafts and Me Challenges. We had the theme Winter / Snowflakes. I thought why not create a card in non usual wintery colours? And with a non christmassy image as well. I love the result.

For this card I used the image 'Night Blossom' by Janna Prosvirina. I coloured her with Distress Inks as well and added some Stickles on her wings. The papers are from Rico Design. I already had it for quite some time and finally used it.

Here a close up of the image as well. Where you can see the glittery wings any better. The Snowflakes die is from Whimsy Stamps.

Now I wish you a not to stressy final spurt to Christmas and hope you can enjoy a lightfull advent season.

Merry Christmas

Hello peeps I'm running soooooooo late today........this christmas malarky has got me doolally......can you believe we have less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!! ARRGGGHHHHH.......yep I'm starting to panic!!!

Anyway altho I have a lot of crimbo stamps & images I like stamps that can be used ALL year round....not just for certain occasions. So this year I've been using every day images as well for christmas cards.....having a bit of a play & to be honest I think you could prob use most images for most occasions.

Here is Hannah Lynn's 'Vanessa' wishing you a Merry Christmas

Sorry for the shine at the top.........had trouble taking pics!!!

I coloured her in red to make it look like a little santy outfit lol........I've still to add a sentiment but I cant decide which one & who its going to lol. I've used no designer papers on this at all.

Kept everything white & glittery to reflect winter & snow but with a touch of red to represent father christmas lol.

I also did a christmas card for the current challenge here using another none christmas image.

The challenge is 'Winter Snow/Snowflakes'

This beauty is 'Turn To Hesed' by Sara Burrier & I coloured her with distress inks to give a softer look.

You could actually rub the ink off the eye mask & instead place a small snowflake above her hand.....I did mean to do that but forgot..........head is like a sieve!!!

So there you have 2 christmas cards using none christmas images.

Good morning everyone I hope your having a fantastic weekend and have a wonderful Sunday planned...we are off for a mooch in town and to buy a few last bits and pieces for Christmas, I'm just about sorted after that, I just need to persuade someone to do my food shopping for me (good luck with that I think lol)...its my turn today to show you some of the stunning new digis available at Crafts and Me...I love this beautiful Christmas Miracle image don't you, amazingly gorgeous and perfect for any occasion I think...my other card is using the gorgeous Angel Rays, she is a beautiful angel and I love the little scene behind her, its so cute...I coloured both my images with distress inks and of course I used loads of glittery stuff for them, I don't seem to be able to resist any glitter at all...well I will leave you to enjoy the rest of your weekend...have fun and if you have time I would love you to pop by my blog

Christmas Miracle by Hannah Lynn

Hey peeps!

Finally i`m here with my card for the day. Way, way too late. So sorry about that. It has been a crazy week and i got home from work a few hours ago. I also worked late last night too so i am feeling pain in bodyparts i didn`t even knew i had, lol. My hubby is just laughing at me an thinks i whine just like an old hag, lol. But just wait, lol, what goes around, comes around, hahaha.

I am really getting a nice collection of Christmas cards now. And more i`ll make, lol. The image i have used is called Christmas Miracle, and is one of the newest releases in the shop. The design is by Hannah Lynn and is available right here.

Just real quick i also want to show you the card i designed for the last digi challenge over at Crafts and Me challenges. The image is called Casting down imagination and is designed by Sara Burrier. Isn`t she a beauty? She is also available in the shop. Just follow this link.

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Hopefully you are not like me...waiting to the last moment to finish my christmas presents. I am totally hopeless in that department. Every year i say to myself that i will start early but guess what? I NEVER DO, lol.

Fa, La La La the Angels sing....

OMGOSH the count down is on isn't it? I can't believe how fast this year has gone, it feels like it's only really June or something, but so glad it's not weather wise, it's starting to really warm up around here!!!

Today I have to show you a new release image from Crafts and Me. This lovely Digi is called Casting Down and it's by Sara Burrier. You can pick one up by clicking on this HERE link:-)

So I have made another Christmas card, I counted them up and geeze I only have 16.... oops, thought there would have been a few more than that, but lucky I don't have to send out that many - so I should be ok in that department!! So here she is, a beautiful angel singing fa la la la- well I think she is anyway!!! I hope you love her as much as me:-)

I have coloured her in my RV copic's as I wanted her to be in a slightly softer pink than what the R's give you. Her wings are covered in Atyou Spica in Clear - gosh I love those pens!! and the raised parts of the wings is Liquid Pearls. I have also given her hair a touch up with the Gold Atyou Spica Pen. My Fa La La La paper is by Jillibean Soup, and I've used some Kaiser Craft flowers along with some Wild Orchid Crafts. I had to use some stickles, so that is around the image!! LOL My sentiment is from SU, and I have also used some creamy lace and some cheese cloth to soften the card a bit.

My next card I have to show you, is also by Sara Burrier, this one is called Poinsettia, I used this card in the challenge: Pearls and Swirls... I really love this one too:-) You can get your Poinsettia here

I've coloured miss poinsettia in some gold's mostly they are Y Copics with a little bit of E35 to golden/darken it up. Her wings are of course smothered in Atyou Spica in Gold and Clear!! There is some more stickles on my sentiment which is by Dark Room Door, again there cheese cloth, laces, and wild orchid craft flowers and my Paper is by Websters - YUM YUM

So there is still time to enter into our challenge's, I can't wait to see what you girles have made:-)

Good afternoon fellow crafters!! Carol here, hope you're all having a good week so far and it's not too cold where you are as it's freezing here in Worcester. Apologies for my late posting but better late than never eh lol?! The first card I have to share with you today is using this gorgeous digi image by Sara Burrier called Gpepper tree and is available to purchase in store here. I decided to go relatively CAS, just using a MS border punch, flat backed pearls made into some swirls and a rather large flower.The second card I'm sharing is the one I made for our current challenge which was chosen by me and is "Pearls and Swirls". You still have roughly five hours to enter so why not join in with us? The digi I have used is called Miss Mirabelle and she is available in store here.

This fabulous Caron Vinson rubberstamped image by Sweet Pea Stamps is named Fall Masquerade Fairy and I've used her with autumn colors. You can find her here. She'll look stunning decked out in any color combination . . .

A Fairy Christmas

Hi Everyone,

I'm chasing my tail again, nothing new. I am now seriously looking forward to Christmas. My house is a mess and my dining table is covered with cards being packaged up for a craft fair on Saturday. I have orders to fulfil and not enough hours in the day. Can anyone help, lol?

Today's card is a commissioned card, basically my customer wanted me to create a Christmas Card the same as my challenge card but using the Crafts and Me Belladonna image. I'm not too good at recreating but hopefully you'll think these two look alike..... if not I'm in trouble. I apologise for the photo I will replace when I'm home in daylight. I have used Belladonna available HERE to create this Christmas Card.

And here's the challenge card that prompted the order, using the "Bride/Flapper" Art Deco image available HERE.

You can see this one was taken in good light. Roll on Christmas and my new ott light.

Into the Word

Hi everyone. It's my turn to post and show you what I have created. This will be a fast post as I am just now finishing helping my kids with their homework. My youngest is really struggling and she has gotten so far behind that has so much work to redo and finish that I could make a book out of it. I am sorry I have been MIA here lately, but she has been taking up all my time. I work full time then come home and I have to be a teacher, well that is what it feels like as that's all I do anymore.

Enough about me, let me get to my creations I have to share with you.

This first one is the card I made from my Mom for her birthday. I love this image and wanted to make a card a little different than I normally do as this card measures 9 x 4.5. I even sewed on it, something I don't do that often. I used a digi image for this one called "Into The Word" by Sara Burrier and you can find her HERE.

This is the card I created for our last Rubber DT Challenge that Karina hosted " Shabby chic/Vintage

I used a rubber stamp by Hannah Lynn called "Frosted Rose".

I think this card with all the colors and paper design screams Shabby Chic, don't you?

Night Blossom

Good morning peeps, hope everyone is fine out there and enjoy the advent season. I had a busy week although I had some days off. I went to a fair for three days over the weekend to sell my cards. So this needed quite some preparations. But from now on I will take it relaxed. I don't have that much Christmas preparations to do which is really fine.

Today I have to show you just one card. It is one of my own favourite cards I ever made. I really like everything on it which happens not that often :o). It is the card I made for our last challenge with the theme Shabby Chic and Vintage. I love this theme and it was me who has chosen it this time. And I am really satisfied when I saw how many of you joined us. Thank you so much for your participation!

I made this card with one of the newest images by the fabulous artist Janna Prosvirina. She is called Night Blossom. Isn't she a true beauty? I love her so much, as each and every other image by this artist as well. I coloured her with Distress Inks. The papers are by Pion Design.

Today we start with a new challenge. So just take a look and join us. We always love to see what you create.
