New Release - Jasmine Becket

Good afternoon everyone hope you all had a good weekend, I'm looking forward to Friday already & we've only just started a new week, lol, I love the weekends cus then my kiddies are home altho I dont think my 20 year old will be happy calling him a kiddie lol.
Anyway I am running MEGA late today....yes I know again lol.
So with little chit-chat from me I will show what you have come here to see.
Yes today I have a new release to show. Teresa has the most fantastic artists working for her.....my fave artist was Hannah Lynn but now Teresa has that many fab artists I just cant choose......all the images are just fab. Anyway, I babbling again the new release I am showing is another from the oh so talented artist
Jasmine Becket-Griffith, her art is just gorgeous click on her name to check her out!!
The stamp I am showing you today I'm sure should have my name to be honest cus its my fave so it should be rightly called Vicky....yayyy lol. Its not tho ;0( lol she is called
'Making A Wish' fairy if you click on her name it will take you straight to the portrait of her.
Now I have chosen to go with the same colours for mine as Jasmine but I did a lighter skin tone, altho it looks no where near as good as hers but I soooo enjoyed colouring her, I really did!!!
Isn't she just soooo beautiful....I will be using this stamp A LOT I tell ya lol. I look at this as tho its showing that she has a little guardian angel on her shoulder.....its just fabulous!!!

The stamp was stamped onto this card (which is fabulous) with memento ink & then the image was coloured with Promarkers & Copics. The white is done with a white gel pen. She has also had a light spritz of Gold glimmer mist which you can also get from Crafts & Me.

The flower is from Wild Orchid & I also sprayed it with the Gold glimmer mist if you click on the photo hopefully you will just be able to see the sparkle. Altho its gold its not over-powering its very subtle. Even the love heart doily has it on & I than dried it with my heat gun & over-heated it in places to get an aged look to it. The love-heart doily is from my stash I've had them forever & really cant remember where I got them from. The small white doily however is from Crafty Emma's.

I hope you like this card & I certainly hope you like the stamp cus she really is fabulous & could be used for soooo many purposes.
These stamps will be released at the Stamperama show in Stevenage on the 6th February Teresa will announce when they will be getting released in store on the 7th February.....so if you would like to get your mitts on them before anyone else does then pop along to the show & see Teresa.
Pop back to here every day as the team are showcasing new releases every day until the show & you really dont want to miss out on any of these newbies cus they are all amazing.
Dont forget there is still time to enter our Mono Challenge here.
Also dont forget if you register to Crafts & Me newsletter you get 10% discount on all new releases....now that means more crafty goodies you could buy with your dosh.....who can say no to that!!!!
Well thats it from me I hope you are loving these new releases as much as us girls are. Dont forget all of these new stamps you can get at the show before they are even released at the store.
Thank you soooo much for stopping by I really appreciate it.
Take care everyone & keep smiling

Time flies!

Well time really does fly in my world! I can not believe it is Saturday again! It has not been the best of weeks for me though not as bad as poor Tracy. My boiler has died and it is in my tiny craft room, I have had to move it all around and will have to pack it all away when they agree a time to replace the boiler as the room is too small for them to get all the stuff in if it is not clear! That has meant I have not got anywhere near as much crafting done as I wanted to :(
I have however managed to play with this amazing new stamp that will be released very soon by the brilliant Teresa. The image is by Jasmine Beckitt and called "Time flies" I hope you love her as much as I do...I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles and then used some glaze on the sand timer not that it shows very well in the pictures.
I hope you all have a great weekend and don't forget there is still time to try out for the DT call and join the current challenge on Crafts and Me challenges which is mono.

Huge hugs to you all

Amy xx

"Lighting the Way"

Morning Peeps,

Well it's been another one of those weeks for me, and I know I said I would return with good news, but it hasn't happened yet.  Firstly Hubby has lost the garage key so we have had to have a locksmith out which has cost £80 today.  Secondly my car failed its MOT so today I had to have a new exhaust fitted and it couldn't just be the front bit, oh no, it needed the flexible bit too that bolts to the engine so £120.  Tomorrow it has to have two bushes fitted for the steering and suspension, so god knows how much but at least I get the parts at a reasonable cost as I am the buyer for them.  Then this morning, I was driving to work and had just got onto the roundabout when a transit van decided he was above the rules of the road and drove straight across the roundabout on the wrong side of the road heading for a head on collision with me!  Luckily I wasn't going too fast and stopped quite quickly and froze whilst I watched the transit try to avoid me.  He luckily missed by millimetres and stopped half way down the side of my car at an angle facing out.  I couldn't even see the driver, just the passenger dressed in camaflague clothing.  He then sorted himself out and sped off on the opposite side of the road again.  I guess the good news is I'm still here, even though my little legs were quivering.

Lastly on Monday of this week we finally had our bathroom finished.  It started last April when the insurance company came in to fix a leak in the roof through the bathroom.  To cut a long story short they repaired the wall and then the next time they came and knocked it down again........... and then repaired it again????? They were all over the shot but finally the bathroom got fitted minus the bath panel and the shower which finally got done on Monday.  My son has gone to have his first shower in the new bathroom and it's leaking through the ceiling.................  Can you just believe my luck, but if you know me, you'll know this is nothing unusual! So although I will be visiting Stamperama to say hi to Teresa I won't have any spending money, so any donations would greatly be received.......lol.

Anyway, I don't know what's in store for me this weekend but it better be good!!!!!!!!

Now, I know Vix introduced you to the new Jasmine Becket-Griffith Crafts and Me stamps, and I know you all gave them the WOW factor.  Well today I would like to introduce you to "Lighting the Way" by Jasmine Becket-Griffith and I am again hoping your gonna think WOW!  I know the DT have fallen in love with these stamps.  Now they will be available to purchase at the forthcoming Stamperama in Stevenage on the 6th February but we don't have a date for online release yet.  Teresa will announce the date sometime after 7th.  So if you want these stamps you need to get to Stamperama and say a big Hi to Teresa.  Here she is:-

Am I hearing a WOW?

Don't forget to check the crafts and me blog each day as all the new stamps started previewing this week right up until the show on 6th Februay, so you can all make your shopping lists, lol.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Lady Garnet Preview

Good morning its Gina here with you today i hope your week is going well and i bet your all waiting for the weekend to arrive lol.

Any way I'm here to show you a card using one of the new Sara Burrier stamped images now this one is called Lady of Garnet she will be available from the 6th feb at the Stamparama show in Stevenage, dont forget these are exclusive stamps to Crafts and Me you wont get them anywhere else.Back to my card now lol I've not coloured her in red that's because I dont really get on well working with red so I've coloured her in Blue and Green which I must say I'm enjoying working with these colours right now I think sometimes you need a bit of little a change. Make sure you keep looking here as we are previewing new stamps every day until the show and you wont want to miss these i promise you that.

Well I've decided to add this one which has red on it to my post, this is one i made for the book that Teresa will be taking to the show which we have all been very busy making samples for we had to cut right down on embellishments on our samples because of space and i think we all struggled with that at a wee bit lol,and our lovely Vix is beavering away getting the sample book arranged and sent off to Teresa ready for the big day dont forget to pop over and say hi to Teresa if your going to the show she would love to meet you i'm sure.

Well I think that's enough from me as I'm waffling now so take care all catch you soon.

Tutorial for Trifold Card

Hello folks its Gina here and I'm here to show you how I made my Trifold Card as Teresa has asked me to but you will have to bear with me as I've never done one before lol and I cant find it anywhere on web, I was sent a card a few months back similar but cant find it, i know its here somewhere as I keep all the cards I'm sent.
Any way here goes.

You need a sheet of 12x12 card Paper cutter, scissors 4 sheets of paper, length of ribbon pearls to match and Martha Stewart punches or you can use whatever punches you have and some double sided tape.

You will now need to Score your card at 6inches or 15 centimetres both ways across and at 9 inches or 23 centimetres as in picture,

fold your score lines them flatten them back out just to make it easier to cut , you can now cut off the shaded parts in picture above so you end up with this strange shape in the picture below

now you can make your folds as in the picture below and start to decorate your card

cut your first piece of paper to 141/2 centimetres square add your double sided tape to the edges and across the middle stick in place

now continue cutting and adding your papers and fold your pocket flap up attach double sided tape to the edges inside to secure the pocket as in the picture below

cut a strip of card just under 6 inches to go along the flap punch with what ever you have then attach with double sided tape on the inside you then cut your paper to size to cover the bottom DO NOT stick the flap down as this is how your card stands up

You now need to attach your ribbon i've attached mine with double sided tape in the middle as you wont see it once you've attached your image to your card

well your pretty much done now here are some pictures of one i made earlier
the first one is opened out completely showing you the inside

the next picture is showing you the card completely showing you the outside

in the picture below the card is folded and the ribbon is tied

in this picture its open so you can see how the card stands up

in this picture the ribbon is tied to keep the flap shut

Well i hope you can understand my instructions ok if not then email me and i will try to help you out. I hope you enjoy making this as much as i did, take care.

Some Showcasing ready for the show

Hello peeps how are you all? Hope you all had a fabulous relaxing weekend.
Today I'm going to show you a few of Crafts & Me stamps, these are their own exclusive range & so they are only available at Crafts & Me. Teresa is doing her very 1st show at Stamparama in Stevenage on the 6th February 2011 she would love to see any of you there..... The talented Vix is organising a book to help showcase the fabulous stamps that Teresa has in her exclusive range.... Now as some of you know sometimes we like to see an image of a stamp coloured because sometimes its hard to picture & then when you see them coloured you can then see what you could do with them.....call it inspiration!!! So for this book all the girls have worked hard at making some card fronts for Vix......this is where the hard bit came we had to keep them as flat as possible & without too many embellishments & try not to put flowers on.....the more they have the more room it takes!! We could certainly understand the reason for this but it still made go AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH.......No embellishments!! No flowers!!!
If you are like me they are my fave part of a card after the image so this job was really hard to do.
I am showing you just 3 of them that I made for the show to help showcase Teresa's fabulous stamps.
1st we have my fave artist in Teresa's range which is Hannah Lynn, she does amazing images which are so easy & enjoyable to colour & have fabulous hair....1 of my fave parts of an image.
This is Adrianna which I have had for an absolute age

Gosh I miss my embellishments & flowers!!!!!! She is coloured with PM's & Copics & I've used stickles for the fish & the spots on her gloves & top. The smooth white card for the image is also from Crafts & Me.
Next we have another Hannah Lynn

This is 'Heart On Her Sleeve' which is coming soon to Crafts & Me & she has been coloured with PM's & tiny bits of stickles added to little bits of hearts & again using the same smooth card....its one of my fave card actually for images & I have no probs at all when I'm using my digi images. It really is fabulous card!!
Last we have Lemon Shortbread who is an artist from Singapore, her images are gorgeous.

This is 'Cocktail Melody' which is another image that is coming soon to Crafts & Me & she has been coloured with Copics, isn't she just so sophisticated!! I cheated a little bit on this I used websters pages as they contain a lot of pattern & I have attached a bow.......really sorry Vix...I tried hunni I really did....it was darn hard!!! lol.
If you have any questions regarding these card fronts please feel free to e-mail me & I will help with anything I can. If you need any details regarding the show in Stevenage then I'm sure Teresa will be more than happy to help so just e-mail her....her contact details are on the shop website.
Thats it from me for now thank you so much for stopping by & looking at just a few of my samples for Teresa. Dont forget 6th February you can see these & the other fabulous cards showcased by the very talented girls at Crafts & Me......
Bye bye for now peeps, take care

Sneek Peak Smell a Flower Melody

Morning Peeps,

I know I say this often, but thank god it's Fridayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, it's been a long week, wrestling with my 15 year who doesn't seem to think he needs to revise for his exams.  He is sooo frustrating as he has a good brain.  He's predicted A, B and C's without having to do anything.  If he stopped chatting and put some effort into revising he could do soooo much better.  If there was a GCSE in X-boxing they would have moved him up to A Level a couple of years back.  Unfortunately I don't think he'll realise we were right until he's in his 20's, but one can try.....grrrrrrrrrrr

Today I have a sneek peak of the new Smell a  Flower Melody soon to be released.  She is just so pretty.  I love the Melody collection and this new release is just Fabulous and so me, lol.  Again, this is clean and simple Tracy style, lol:-

I have coloured her using copics.

Isn't she just adorably GORGEOUS!

We have some awesome releases coming up from Crafts and Me so watch this space. If your visiting Stamperama in Stevenage on 6th February don't forget to visit the Crafts and Me Stand.  You won't be disappointed.
